I don't think the power mongers will take this too lightly. Isn't this a similar scenario back to before the Iraq war started?
I know we can't do too much preaching to the choir but I have a small action item for everyone here. Go to your local toy store and pick up $15 of sidewalk chalk (this will get you a lot of chalk!). Create a short phrase.

Next, chalk up all of the major bus stops in your area. People will ask you questions and they will remember you. You may also choose to go at night. It's FUN and hundreds of people will see it throughout the day.
If you do it over a couple of weeks, people will be looking to see what the NEW message is and BAM you've made an impact in an easy way.
People sit and wait at bus stops sometimes for +20 minutes.

Well, I give Iran credit...
for standing up to the tptb, I am glad Russia is supporting them. The only reason the 'civilized west' wants to democratize Iran is to enslave the people. Iran forbids usury, thus Iranian people are truly free. The best way to enslave a country is to put them into debt.

just another excuse for US govt to go to war with Iran for oil since Iran is dumping the FRNs.
Oil for Euros = WMD
Ron Paul was the only person I ever heard comment publically about this being one of the causes to go to war against Iraq. Sadaam had the audacity to want to begin selling his oil for euros. (didn't he enjoy the no-fly zone and restrictions of the oil for food program?) With billions of dollars stacked up in Iraq already, of what use were more dollars to him? Of course we already had sanctions against Iraq in place so it was easy to say he was violating them and bring the case for WMD against him at the UN.
Now you see the whole scenario playing out again this time against Iran. Without current sanctions in place against them you now understand the rush to blame them for IAEA violations and bring sanctions against them. This makes Iran out to be the bag guys and even easier to sway a gullible congress to let the president decide to do whatever is necessary to eliminate the "danger" they pose.
Nothing but dollars is acceptable under current agreements with OPEC member nations of which Iran is a founder(1960). Any desire to change this relationship would be a violation of "international agreements" that they speak of.
Don't believe this. Look at a map and see how Iran is sandwiched between Iraq and Afghanistan. Now if we can just justify more troops in Afghanistan....hmmm

not the oil, only petrochemical products that were being sold on the bourse were denominated in other currencies. Their petroleum was still being sold in dollars.

A huge illuminated new billboard just went up in my town along a major intersection. All it says is "Democracy for Iran". Kind of sounds like "freedom is on the march" doesn't it?
