Limbaugh, Hannity, and Savage won't go near Ron Paul. Why?

Their silence is deafening and speaks volumes about their neo-con views. But how much longer can they hide from the truth?

Racist Fear-mongering

While I find that on most domestic policies I am in general agreement with the talk-show blow-hards, I find that when it comes to foreign policy these closet imperialists never debate the issues rationally and invariably resort to racist fear-mongering.

The recent case of a Mr. Najibullah Zazi, who apparently was my neighbor and shopped at a beauty supply store a few blocks away (I aint skeered), as well as the "stunning revelation" of a 2nd nuclear facility in Iran provide perfect fuel for the neo-fascists to stoke the remnants of fear and racism kindled in the aftermath of the WTC attacks. Alas, it does still seem to work to an extent.

They say just enough that's right to get you to trust them, then they try and shove this stupid crap down your throat. Most people I know that listen to them tend to swallow it all, good and bad. Which is the problem. It's the controlled opposition. They want the power and every day are claiming the right to lead. That's why you rarely hear them speak of Ron 'he who shall not be named' Paul. The only one with a legitimate claim who is too honest and humble to claim it, which is why he's the most deserving.

If we aren't vigilant and vocal they will end up usurping all of our grassroots energy and using it to their own ends. They'll ride this wave all the way back to the white-house.

*puke*

Calling them up never seemed like a good idea to me as the conversation, if you actually get on-air, is usually one-sided and more often than not will end with them claiming to have won the argument. But we can't just sit back and let them take the reins.

I've often considered what it would take to start up my own talk-show to spread the good word, but I usually get stuck on the revenue issue. After all these jerk-offs do have bloated salaries to pay, and unless you are toeing one of the pre-approved partisan lines finding sponsors, much less national distribution, may prove difficult.

On the other hand, ratings is the bottom line, just ask Beck. So I'm all for Walt Williams or some other fellow soldier for liberty getting their own show.

American Imperialism - An ingrained Ideology

Americans are raised to believe in American superiority and justified intervention. We can take it way back to our first steps West, but in contemporary terms it stems from the public train of thought from the Red Scare and Cold War Era. Limbaugh and Hannity are American Imperialists. Ron Paul is anti-imperialism. His rhetoric defies everything they, and the majority of Americans (Dem. & Rep,) know and understand. You cannot erase decades of indoctrination over night. Unfortunately, it will take generations.

Instead of speculating,

why don't WE DP members call into their radio shows and ask REAL questions. We could ask questions about audit the fed, foreign interventionism, individual rights, the gold standard, etc. Use your imagination. If we all blitzed the show at the same time some of us are bound to get through. It would be great to show them up, maybe win us a few fans. We shouldn't mention RP. I believe it would be more effective to our cause that way.

instead...

why dont we whine and babble and cry about it?

Makes no sense to me why folks cant pick up a phone.

'Peace is a powerful message.' Ron Paul

There is no money to be made in having Ron Paul

in a position like the Presidency. There is no money to be made from their talk shows if a Constitutional government is in Washington. There is no money to be made if we aren't trying to run the world. They thrive when there is conflict.

Ron Paul and us terrify them, if this country operated as the founders intentioned. They would need to find gainful employment actually doing something tangible, they wouldn't make fortunes fussing about things.

I am all for making money, all for capitalism, but the talk guys aren't operating under capitalism, they are operating from Washington's manipulation. If our government was a legal Constitutional government, then there would be no market for their wares. It is in their own best interest to be propagandist for the state, otherwise they would have to find a position in the free market. And with hardly any skills other than being a lying ass that would be hard.

"What was taken from the boomers, it ain't there, what was taken from the X'ers it ain't there, what is being taken from their great, great, great squared grandchildren it ain't there. Some generation just has to have the guts to quit passing it on." Me

*May the only ones to touch your junk, be the ones you want to touch your junk.*

So true

But I'm sure the Good Doctor would find a place for the likes of Limbaugh, Olbermann, Hannity, etc...

There's plenty of gum and bird poop that needs to be scraped off the steps of the Capitol.

Neal Boortz is another one...

that won't mention Ron Paul and especially the Audit the Fed bill. They know! They know that the federal reserve is strangling and killing America but they are too afraid to say it. Their listeners watch the news and believe they're informed and after the media slandered Dr. Paul and made him sound like a lunatic they believe it and the radio propagandists don't want to ostracize that base. Boortz is for the fair tax!! DUH! And he's always preaching about the constitution too.. PHONEY

Darla 4 RON PAUL

It isn't just RP's foreign affairs stand...

it's about the money...You never hear them discuss the Fed or the audit the Fed or anything that might stimulate conversation that would allow listeners to open the door to an honest discussion of monetary policy of U.S.
They are gatekeepers. Where was all this talk when the same dang thing has been going on for dozens of years by both parties.
545 people in WA google that.

The mention of Ron Paul or slight reference to them shames them.

They were wrong. Ron Paul was right.
Mention of him reminds them that they were wrong.
Mention of his name shows how they abandoned Liberty long ago while Ron never failed to defend it.
When they talk about Ron Paul they publicly confess quietly that they gladly tredded on the Constitution and laughed while he protected it.

Remember that fool levin saying 80% of the time Ron was right? That means he PUBLICLY ADMITTED that he only agrees with 80% of the United States Constitution! Ron has always obeyed the Constitution. That is why his name and referencing them is so dangerous and damning.

In the coming years when Ron Paul is proven right once again they will reap what they have sowed.

Pro War

They are all pro war and will not admit a lot of people have died in a war that we should not have been in. Say what you want, but Iraq never attacked us for them to be in a war with us but we have given a lot of lives for that country. With the war now, either win now and come home or come home period. This might be a big difference in their beliefs from Dr. Paul. IMO

TheKingIsComing

Many reasons

These 'personalities' have an agenda, a faithful following, an image to uphold and bosses that expect them to be consistent.

Ron Paul is not part of their agenda, endorsing him would confuse the faithful follwers, and would not be consistent with their image as a personality.

Now, privately they may admire Ron Paul, but could not dare say so in their broadcasts. Remember there is a gulf between the on-air personality and the real person. This is true of many performers.

I don't see Michael Savage's name anywhere down the thread. He is, to me, the most odious. He was on MSNBC for a day or two, until he announced that all gay people should get AIDS and die. Well, that got him canned, but his radio audience loves this kind of hate speech.

I note that Glenn Beck is not part of your list. I think Murdoch is giving him a little freedom, since Alan Colmes is no longer on Fox, and he was more receptive to people like Dr. Paul. Beck seems to be coming around. Seems.

ANY SOLUTIONS???

THAT COULD MAKE THE FRONT PAGE????

'Peace is a powerful message.' Ron Paul

Ignoring Ron Paul is

not new. Why this is on the front page is unknown to me.

We have been getting some

We have been getting some new visitors recently. Its a good thread for them.

Ventura 2012

sweet...

I posted a thread asking for support for a pledge to call these 'entertainers'. If we got the house behind a bill.. we surely could round up our troops to call talk radio.

Whatever. This thread is effin pointless unless people offer some effin solutions.

'Peace is a powerful message.' Ron Paul

Really that's all they are...

Is Olbermann still doing the NFL highlights.... I don't watch any more... and I wouldn't if he were still doing them...

YES

I literally think about this every single day when i listen to any of these guys on the local neo-con station. I listened intently all throughout the campaign to mostly Savage and Limbaugh, and small doses of Hannity when i was drinking, to kind of monitor what the mainstream repubes were up to and if they would mention Ron Paul. I dont remember them EVER mentioning, quoting or anything about the Constitution during the GOP race, did you? In fact, i remember hearing Limbaugh saying something to the effect of "Ron Paul can paint the Constitution on a blowup doll and make love to it" and now that its becomming popular and Obama is in office, who all became "Born-again Constitutionalists"? Especially Beck, i think he's whoring the message worse than anyone, but thats just my opinion. But every time i hear the word "Constitution" come out of Hannity's mouth I shudder, because I know he's not for real and they are trying to dillute or coopt it, or both who knows. Anyway I had to sign in to get that off my chest, I've read this website literally almost every day since 07' have always meant to sign in and become a member but i just get lost in reading all the information then i dont bother, but this post prompted me to comment, lol

LOL

@ "Hannity when I was drinking"

When you are on a monthy stipend and retainer from the NWO

they send you an email every month, saying which topics are approved and which ones are off limits. Break ranks and protocol, and the financial support is immediately withdrawn! Pay is determined per individual, some get $100,000 some a million.

They can hide from the truth, apparently, forever.

After not listening to Rush for many years, I now play the Rush game on occasion.
The rules are simple, turn him on and start the clock. Wait for him to say something dumb, then turn him off.
The other day he lasted 42 seconds. He said he doesn't criticize George Bush. He said he loves George Bush and considers him a friend.
What a partisan hack! But he's not as bad as Chris Matthews who gets a feeling up his leg when he looks at Obama. At least let's hope Rush's love is not perverted.

For the same reason whores avoid virtuous women,

they feel inadequate.

Why? Because vampires...

are repelled by SUNSHINE!

LOL!

I Love it!

Here's a Thought

Yes we can call in to national programs and defend Liberty, but my experience has been that by engaging conservatives I know personally, I have not only steered votes away from McCain towards Ron Paul and eventually Baldwin, but I have also robbed Limbaugh, Hannity and Savage of loyal listeners. Now when my family discusses such men, it is with collective eye rolls all around. Before the discussion of our message, they admired them. Now they laugh at them.

Sure, some of my relatives are hostile towards me now. I have one Uncle that I'm convinced hates my guts. But truth prevails among those of good will. Those who lack good will are those we would prefer to defeat, rather that have them pollute the message with arrogance. Better still, it maybe possible to obliterate their arrogance with a big helping of 'crow eating'. The dish is being prepared as we speak, and the force feeding will commence any day now... I hope. The more helpings we serve up at the grassroots level (and the more grassroots converts we gain) the more and more crow will be piled up on the plates in front of Hannity and the other false conservatives.

Helpful advice: When engaging friends and family about men like Hannity (and perhaps the Republican Party itself) focus on the obvious and profound contradictions in their neo-conservatism. For example - the disconnect between the shrill warnings about spending, and their support of trillion dollar war financed through debt accumulation. Or bring up their voiced support of a patriotic stand for the Constitution, and then their incredible propensity to turn clean around and favor the Patriot Act and undeclared war. It's as easy as pie.... crow pie.

is msm even relevant

is msm even relevant anymore? seems lately they are getting more desperate for attention.

Who needs them! These phoney conservative blowhards

are no better than their phoney progressive blowhard counterparts like Olbermann, Franken, Moore, etc.

They all showed their loyalties during the '08 campaign, they're not people of good character, they're infotainers that profit handsomely from this partisan sideshow. Why would they want the man behind the curtain to be revealed?

Possible solution??

'Peace is a powerful message.' Ron Paul

It's all about Israel

Dr. Paul knows that Israel instigates or even false flags terrorism, to look like they are the victims, so they can get public support, weapons, and money from America. Being that the Zionists, in the Irgun group were the founders of terrorism, when the bombed the King David Hotel in '49, which killed British, Arabs, and even Jews. This showed they are willing to sacrifice their own people to reach their desired goals. Their power through AIPAC's control of elections, has a huge influence on our foreign policies. These talk show hosts, as well as others depend on those who are manipulated by the Israel façade as victims, their networks Jewish ownership, in order to get their ratings and most of all their multi-million dollar contracts. If I offend people by providing empirical facts, I'm sorry, my allegiance
is to America, and this influence has led us into the grave danger of its demise.

YES!!

I totally agree; thanks for the info!

Thanks for the info on the Israel terrorists. Irgun group etc.

Looked it up.. Very enlightening.
