I agree. I was once a
I agree. I was once a cristo-fascist because I was asleep and was just reacting to the NWO socialist trend. I had not opened my eyes to the superiority of classical American liberalism/libertarianism in regards to, my/my fellow countrymens, freedoms and liberty.
I just had not seen or opened my eyes to the truths that were being hidden from us. That is why EDUCATION is one of our greatest missions.
We have ALL been asleep to these truths sometime in our life and we have all woken up. It is a good thing that we are not JUDGED because of our previous positions. People CAN AND DO wake up! It is happening every day.
There is no reason Bachmann cannot wake up. Not to say that she also couldn't be a manipulative politician trying to ride the wave. However, I believe that truth wins in the end and these seeds are being planted in her mind and growing. The big crowds and all the people who call her office(us) are watering those seeds.
So let us not be so quick to judge and just watch her actions as they speak louder than words.

Ron Paul sits down with a cristo-fascist.
It baffles me why Ron Paul would be see with the likes of Michelle Bachmann -- a science hating, corporatists (neo-fascist) with a pathetically low IQ. Maybe Congressman Paul is confused about who is robbing the American people of their democracy. Yes the Federal Reserve is part of the problem but so are the "free market" global corporations. The global-corporate system that Bachmann idolizes (and gets her money from) constitutes the very same international crime syndicate behind the destruction of individual rights, the American Constitution, and national sovereignty--not to mention the global environment.
Michelle Bachmann is great at talking about the Second Amendment--like she is seriously looking out for your freedom. Bachmann and her ilk (Glenn Beck, Rush Limbaugh) are actually naked fascists. And so you rally around people like her to protect your rights when, in actuality, she wants to strip them away as fast as she can and then make you get down on you hands an knees and pray to her God of Greed (they like to call it Jesus but it has nothing to do with Jesus of Nazareth).
And so your self delusions about Ayn Rand, and how you are going to keep your personal wealth in gold, and your gun fetish look absolutely pathetic because you don't have a clue about the magnitude of the problem. And you work your butts off helping your enemy subjugate America. By the way, it's one thing for you to kill an unarmed, middle aged census taker. (wow--that was a real heroic blow against the Fed.) It's another to hold your little gun in the air when Blackwater kicks your door in. What are you going to do then, hide behind you wives and children?
The "free markets" won't save you from fascism, or totalitarianism, because they are fascism and they are leading us toward totalitarianism. (want to live in China?) But maybe fascism is what you wanted all along because you gleefully opened Pandoras Box with all of your utopian clap-trap about "free markets" and how they will always correct themselves, etc. But oops, the monopolies took over our government. Who's going to correct that--you with your little gun?
Make no mistake, they will take your guns and your gold. No amount of bravado is going to change that.
What bravado?
Free Trade is illegal in the USA. Free trade exists in the black market of illegal drugs, sex and arms. The war on drugs has expanded into a war on terror. The war on terror will continue to expand as long as the free market is illegal.
Sitting and talking with "the enemy" is better than drawing a line in the sand. I believe Michele Bachmann learned a thing or two and is now owing Ron a favor. I believe that's an excellent way to handle an enemy.
Ron Paul is winning hearts and minds, which is how you win any battle, no matter how many arms, or force we are up against, it appears the power we have is LOVE for freedom and free market and this is worthy and why we will win.

Bravado about "liberty"
If you haven't noticed, may of the corporatist mouth pieces sound a lot like Ron Paul. With a "Liberty" here and a "Constitution" there, they are trying to morph into Libertarians while maintaining their corporatist/fascist agenda. They are FAKE Libertarians. Ron Paul is actually the real thing and I do value and respect true Libertarians. But I have to wonder if he has government health care like the rest of the Republican hypocrites in Congress? No way, I'm sure he turned it down.
Why would he turn it down?
Mouth pieces are professional entertainers. I like to pretend they don't exist, but there they are on TV, on the web, on DP...
Ron Paul is in very good health, so I don't imagine his healthcare bill is very big, besides a check up. Why not use congressional healthcare? Govt is the biggest healthcare provider, the VA, medicar, medicade and programs for prisons all of which operate internationally.. I guess congressional healthcare assures you are covered anywhere in the usa.
What I want to know is if Pelousi uses congressional healthcare to get facelifts?

another Congressman as honest as Ron? Another Congressman so principled with absolutely nothing in his record for the opposition to 'find'? I don't believe in everything he says, but mostly I do. However, at least I always know I can believe that what he says is honest. Amazing person.

For those of you who were not there, this was an unusual crowd
last night.
This was not your typical preaching to the choir audience.
Many who were there probably heard Dr. Paul for the first time both from the 'neo con' Christian right wing side brought in by Michele Bachman, and the Obama Liberals who were supposed to be there 'protesting', but funny thing was, there was no protesting!! In fact those who were supposed to be protesting were seen clapping for the most part. Interesting.
Dr. Paul's speech reflected comments directed specifically for those folks to chew on and it seemed they chewed on it.
I observed there were many who left with a different perspective than when they came in.
Good point.
There was no "Ron Paul! Ron Paul!" chant that usually welcomes him to the stage and while exiting. To me it sounded like a lot of new curious youngsters, which is great. I figured there had to be Obamabots to see what the big deal was. Hopefully, they were pleasantly surprised.
Sounds Wonderful...most of us started the same way!
Reasonable civil people usually resond well to the truth especially when the Good Doctor is the one presenting it to them.

I personally couldn't vote for her a few years ago. Too neo con
for me. However, she really, really sees what is happening judging by her speeches and her passionate comments. Instead of drinking the kool aid in DC, I believe Michelle took the red pill instead.
I like her very, very much. I think once she makes the connection between economic freedom and Constitutional protection of our sovereignty, she will be well on her way to understanding as an 'American' Christian, how important it is to fight for the liberties of all people of all religions and all different ways of life....as long as they don't tread on another.
