Mr. Obama is loyal to the bankers that provided money to get him elected.
He is now also the head of the Democratic party.
To get the Democrats to sign Dr. Paul's bill was like pulling teeth.
Barney Frank is loyal to Obama and the Democrats, if anything changes Barney wants to take the credit for it, in my opinion.

The only Congressman looking out for we the peoples monetary interests seems to be Ron Paul. Therefore he knows what I just wrote above and is going slowly to not spook off the people who have already signed on his H.R. 1207 bill.
Ron Paul is backed by a strong grass roots movement that has almost everyone now aware of who Ron Paul and bits and parts of what he stands for and what he is loyal too. { The U.S. Constitution ! }
In the past Ron Paul has introduced legislation to abolish legal tender laws, in the hopes of allowing competing currencies.
Competing currencies would eventually destroy the monopoly the Fed has on the American monetary system.
However, if an audit does happen and it is honest {?} I don't think the Fed/MSM can cover up the fact that the American monetary system is in very sad shape, because of Fed policy.
However, as more Americans become outraged at the Fed, Mr. Obama and his boot licking cronies are/will try to divert attention away from what Ron Paul is doing, by talking about Iran, and the gullible American T.V. watchers will gobble it up.

He and Mel Watt are trying to do damage control but it really shows just how the Federal Reserve is coming down. That Alvarez is such a snivelling, cowardly, worm. The way he keeps repeating over and over again what the 'role' of the Federal Reserve is. He can't seem to answer the question. Lying bastards!
Um, I read this as bad news
Does anybody honestly believe "publicity" is the same thing as "transparency"? Because it ain't. Barney wants the positive "publicity" which comes from being seen to have done something. He wants to do something so long as it doesn't impact the market in the near term. When Congressmen speak about "terms" they mean their own personal terms in office. So my translation of Barney's statements: "we want to be seen to be doing the right thing, but we won't do anything if it causes any bad new to reach the light of day." Barney Frank is an enemy of economic freedom.

I have this strange gut
I have this strange gut feeling that something is not right, but maybe I'm wrong. They don't control everything, but their strength is in steering things in the direction they like through small incremental turns of the wheel (incrementalism).
I also feel that the resistance against this bill is not strong enough like it has been for decades. Have you thought about what the audit will do? Of course we love it, but it will most likely show a completely defunct system...no surprises there. However, in the chaos and destruction of the dollar that ensues after the revealing of the real true information...they will try to steer it in their direction. Who has the media outlets to get out their ideas IMMEDIATELY! It take us time to push out our ideas. Who has a plan for a post FED or post dollar? We kind of do...sound money...but they will have written proposals and everything that they can bombard the people via their mass media with their 'option'.
I am concerned? How do we counter...we must be prepared for this chess move.
