These EXPERTS keep talking of boom time economy that we had in the past ..SORRY ,there was no boom .IT was all FALSE BOOM.. when we as a country continue to supoport DEBT how can ANYONE claim BOOM time...With any DEFERRED payment their is NO true Wealth created ..It's only cash flow wealth ..A DIET that is consumed into nothingness...Drink, eat & be merry diet..Simply existance living ..NO wealth was created ..If wealth had been created we would not find ourselves in DEBT farther than ever & we would not be having the crisis meltdown..We in the past have spent our funds on JUNK, that does not last..Circulation is the ONLY program left to execise until EXPERTS start using fiscal responsibility & get rid of overhead & WASTE..

I saw a video of Faber and Jim Rogers being interviewed in Jim Rogers' house in like 2003. They were talking EXACTLY like Ron Paul on politics AND economics, and were against the war.

2018?
I am not the expert Mr. Faber is, but he does not seem to either predict well or connect the dots that are before him.
He is making a grave assumption by pegging 2018 as a target date for collapse: that the world will remain essentially unchaged for the next 9 years. That is, no wars, no acts of terrorism, no natural or man-made disasters. Does this guy read the papers?
We are in a time of accelleration. I think Mr. Faber is right, but I would shorten the time frame to 2011. By then all hell will have broken loose.

2018 is when a lot of entitlements come due and that will lead to the collapse.

Crazy person with a nuke. That would tilt the house of cards, if not bring it down altogether.
Give some credit. There are very smart people in the Middle East - you can pick any country. They have good scientists who are passionate about their causes, just as we are.
