ADL on "Idiot Legal Arguments".

Check this link out. Look at all the case cites it has that shoot down all of this stuff. I didn't see anything on the drivers licenses at least. My only point in posting this info is that if you folks are going to file all this UCC stuff and use arguments about your name in all caps, etc. then you had better be aware of the arguments the courts will use against you well in advance, and be familiar with the case law that they will use to support their arguments. Reading some of the quotes from these cases sounds like if you bring up some of this stuff you could get into trouble. I'm not saying anyone here is wrong, nor am I saying that since it's from the ADL "it must be true", and the word "idiot" was theirs not mine, so don't get your panties in bunch! I just figured that for those folks considering filing these things you might want to familiarize yourself with not just the arguments that you want to hear that support your position, but also those that will be used against you.

Good luck! I hope you all doing this succeed. If so, tell us your success stories.

It seems they have all their bases covered.

Thanks for posting this. It is important to know that when you step into their arena that you are not in control.

I've read of UCC codes and driving with no license stories since I was a teenager. I've never met anyone who successfully pulled it off. The PTB do not like people inciting other people. If you actually discover a legal 'back door' to the system and make an attempt to inform others of this loophole, don't you think they would move heaven and earth to silence you?

I remember a DJ on the radio who used to play a game on the air with call-ins called "Mouth vs Ear". In the rules was explained that you, the listener, was not allowed to win because "when all else fails, we cheat".

That is my view of the courts. If you really do your homework and embarrass a judge in court, trust me, they aren't going to pin a medal on you and say "great job! you really figured us out for the shits we are, congratulations!". No, instead they will come after you again and again and again on any perceived wrongdoing on your part until they break you. Your funds and time are limited, theirs are not.

So the one rule would seem to be... stay out of their arena.

In karate my Sensei would always say "You never fight a shark in the water. Draw him into unfamiliar territory, get him on the beach and fight him there".

It was good advice for a skinny 18 year old. It still applies 30 years later.
