People are sick and tired of governmental oppression, in my opinion.

Cops are not supposed to be judge, jury, and executioner.

It will only get worse, if we don't stand up for our rights.

All it takes for evil to flourish, is that good men do nothing.

Cops have an emensely difficult job, they put their lives at risk, and walk into danger. A certain degree of aggression is required if you want to stay alive. That is why, back in the day, not only did you have to be physically capable... but mentally strong and mentaly in control. Todays cops are out of control indeed, however they are merely a reflection, product, of our out of control society and culture. The level of police brutality goes hand in hand with the polictical coruption, hand in hand with the dumbing down of America, the dechristianization of America, the decline of our moral and cultural fabric....

known as 'pack mentality'. A dog can be well behaved on its own, but around the pack it turns into a different, violent beast.

Many cops go into the profession because they thirst for having power over others, and eagerly await any opportunity to exercise that power. Unfortunately, the good cops -- and there are plenty -- suffer because of those bad apples.

it's shocking as a parent to see how little care these monsters have for young innocents, as well as disabled.
I think many of the cops taped are mentally unbalanced; why are they unleashed on a vulnerable public? And why aren't the courts overloaded with abuse lawsuits?

..when you ask about lawsuits. I think there may be civil action, but get settled out of court and the officer is reassigned to desk duty.

In the past, in NYC, there were criminal trials and the offending officers got sent to jail. I don't see that happening quite as much today.

I think you also have a point about the 'pack' mentality.
