HP article claiming a neo-con started the modern day tea parties!!!!

This is only known in a small group of people but the original idea for the modern Tea Party movement came from Barbara Honegger, a military analyst and aide to Regan, in 2006. She contacted people in Boston 9/11 Truth with the idea of reenacting the original Tea Party, tossing crates of 9/11 Commission Reports into the harbor. On December 16th 2006, Boston 9/11 Truth held a rally outside Faneuil Hall, then marched to the site of the original Tea Party to throw the mock up crates into the water.
The next year we scheduled the hall for two days. On the first day we hosted a conference focusing on the scientific evidence for demolitions. It was at this conference that Steven Jones first announced the findings of explosive "red-gray" chips in WTC dust. We let the Ron Paul group in the area use the hall for the second day and marched in the snow. That was the transition from the 9/11 Tea Parties to the Ron Paul ones.
Now that you know where the Tea Parties started, are you going to let the neo-cons hijack them?

I have no problem with the
I have no problem with the pure Ron Paul groups getting credit for the Tea Parties in the mainstream press. I would actually prefer it that way since those groups are better able to capitalize on it. That said, with neo-cons trying to co-opt the movement, real Ron Paul supporters should know where it came from and why the neo-cons can never fully co-opt it.

9/11 truth did start them. I was at the first one at Faneuil Hall in Dec '06, the one with all the copies going on around the country. The next year we rented the hall for two days, Saturday the 15th and Sunday the 16th in case there was bad weather. It turned out that we had a serious snow storm both days but we gave up the rights to the hall to another group and marched through a blizzard because we loved the idea of these guys getting into the "Tea Party" spirit. We didn't do it the next year because a group many of us were either involved in or supported took up the mantle.
To those who don't think the Tea Parties started with 9/11 truth, then were adopted by this movement, go find out what happened at Faneuil Hall Dec 16th, 2007.

We aren't claiming it, its the truth. Remember how some people were up in arms over some 9/11 people incorporating their message when they were promoting Ron Paul during the campaign? Boston 9/11 Truth understood that that was a bad idea and would hurt Dr. Paul before it even became an issue. We quietly transferred the rights to the hall for the second day to the pure Ron Paul group in Boston for the first Ron Paul Tea Party, the main event on the day of the second money bomb. I know what I'm talking about. I was the person who made the decision to get the hall for two days the summer before.
