My name is Floyd Bayne and I am running as an independent,constitutional/conservative for Congress in Virginia’s 7th district, a seat currently held by establishment republican Eric Cantor. I,like you,
have grown weary of Mr. Cantor’s lapses in judgment. The straw for me that broke the proverbial camel’s back was Cantor’s vote for the Wall Street bailouts of 2008, and his refusal to answer why, after I had been
assured by his office he would vote no. I questioned him on it at one of his advisory council gatherings and all the flustered Eric Cantor could do was to re-direct the argument back to Obama’s socialist healthcare take
over. You probably have other reasons the congressman has let you down and I share in your frustration. It is time we re-introduce the concept of citizen-legislator in Washington, D.C. For too long the establishment has squandered our national treasure and for too long have they systematically infringed on our personal liberties. I ask that you join me in the fight to take back our government from the powerful ruling class. Please contribute in any way you can. Floyd sent me this email when I questioned him about the Iraq letter to the editor.
Yeah, I can see how that might create some confusion. I was trying to
point out that all the leftists who hated Bush, just for being Bush,
didn't seem to have the same problem when their boy, Clinton, was trying
to save "innocent" lives in Bosnia. If good came from Clinton's sojourn
then why was the good that came from Bush's efforts in Iraq not equally
praiseworthy? Just another example of it's ok for a dem, but not for a
rep, or vice-versa.
We should leave Iraq now! Let the Iraqi people take care of their own
problems.

Greetings!
Good day, fellow patriots! I would like to thank Brent for introducing my website to your membership. I have undertaken the task to unseat Eric Cantor out of a frustration with the lack of choices we are presented with in our current two-party system. It seems we are often presented with a choice between socialism or socialism lite.
In visiting my website you may find some things that you and I disagree on. I would be surprised if all of us agree on every topic 100% of the time. However, if we can agree on 80% or more then I believe we can work together to get our country and Constitution back. Unlike the current crop of "representatives" we are stuck with, I do not mind answering questions and encourage you to contact me if you have one. All I can do is give you my honest answer and hope that we agree more often than not. Oh, and by the way, if I don't know the answer to a question, I'll tell you I don't, but I will strive to get one for you.
You should also know that if elected, any and all decisions that I have to make as a representative will be based on the Constitution and the proper role of a limited federal government. Thank you for allowing me to introduce myself and I look forward to hearing from you.
