Isnt it time for a national "Ron Paul Award/Prize"

I am tried of all the Nobel, Pulitzer, Oscar,,,blah, blah, blah...going to propagandists like AL Gore and et al. They have been using these high profile awards as a way to add credibility political agendas...writers, actors etc. General public is fooled by these awards and these awards imbue legitamacy to their agenda. Most people do not have the time or the incling to research into the awardee or the issue...example Paul Krugman or Al Gore. Then they run around on tv shows promoting anti american agendas.

Ron Paul, not Daily Paul

I think Michael, or someone who knows Dr. Paul, might bright your suggestion forward to him. It's a good one.

This sort of award is usually accompanied by some kind of grant or cash award, but the details could be worked out later.

Leave it to Dr. Paul to bestow the honor on the person or group who has done the most for the cause of liberty in America. That would be very fine.

Please don't lump the various prizes together. The Nobel and Pulitzer are very honorable prizes, based on merit and selected by committee. Same for the Booker prize for literature.

The Oscars, Emmys, Tony Awards, are are merely nice show-biz honorariums for various kinds of achievement.

I don't believe any of these awards are political. If that were true, films like JFK and Born on the Fourth of July would never have been nominated, and Michael Moore would still be in obscurity.
