Total donations to the campaign surged over $1,060,000 last week, as the indignant grassroots moved on their own to counteract the D.C. insiders trying to decide Kentucky's Republican primary from afar. Paul's opponent recently sent out an email pleading for last minute donations to bolster his campaign image as the FEC reporting quarter draws to a close. In spite of establishment backing, indications are he is struggling to keep pace with the thousands of small donors who currently fuel Dr. Paul's campaign of principles, and signals that We The People have become a formidable challenge in this race!
Of course, the end of September is a significant time for our campaign as well. Thanks entirely to your generosity even in the midst of difficult economic times, a major milestone is now within our reach. If just $46,000 or more is donated before October, we will have raised over $1,000,000 in this quarter alone! We are on the verge of a feat that would rightly stun the political world, and reinforce the fact that Rand is not only philosophically the strongest in the race, but has the funding to deliver the message of balanced budgets and a limited and constitutional government.
