To be honest with you this "stuff" is regularly (perhaps overly) absent from my life....:o(

I am a family man, worried about the future for my kids and am on a daily mission to try to educate and enlighten those close to me and generally anyone who will listen. (I recently fly posted 500+ Ron Paul Posters in Edinburgh on Bus stops and at Train Stations, etc purely out of my frustration of the lack of understanding in the country I live in - I hope to have recruted 1 more soul).

We are years ahead of you in UK in the sense of oppression - we do not have the luxury of a Constitution like your goodselves, even if its being ignored, at least its a moral high ground to fight with and for - we have NOTHING but a history of what you are experiencing in the last century, thanks to the English Empire...)

I am Scottish, not American......I was always "programmed" to think people in US were "fat, lazy, greedy, stupid, etc"......I woke up around 7 Years ago. I was COMPLETELY OFF BASE, i had been TAUGHT (programmed) wrongly, but now am enlightened on a fair amout of "truths" and very glad to be so.

The world and its future initially looks extremely ugly (its a very hard pill to swallow) when you know many of the dirty facts, but there is a massive sense of relief, when you realise that the complicated and crazy world that you thought you lived in FINALLY makes some sort of sense.

It's all wrong, but I at least know WHY.

Since that day, Ron Paul has been my teacher and I have read and researched as much as I can (initially to the point of obsession) about the history of America and the fight against tyranny in general, a la our very own legend, William Wallace.

I understand your venom towards Oprah, MSM and the "collective"............but I do not judge THEM (by them I mean the crowd).

As the saying goes, "a stranger is friend you have just not met yet".

Yes, these people are being MISLED, but their hearts and intentions are in the RIGHT PLACE.

They simply need a little of our understanding.

I was suggesting that we need a little of their optimism.
