#8 = disagreeing with lawmakers
These 9 principles and 12 values are personal to me. Not neo-con.
Dividing ourselves apart from those that want basically the same things only weakens us.
Share your ideas and beliefs. Don't hide them away from those that obviously want to restore our Constitution!

I have a problem with #5 and #8,
in the sense that they can be contradictory, but I just found out about this. I may join, but I'll need to monitor my time there, Hubby is freeing himself from w-9 work, annd so needs the computer 8-12 hours a day, usually.

I'm trying to figure out what is so 'inspired' about 9/12, other than that it came from Glenn Beck.
It's not uncommon for people who are instigated from a source to disclaim any connection with that source--
why not "mothers of 1912"? (before the Federal Reserve and WWI)

I've tried to coddle and pacify and teach anti-libertarian 'conservatives' and republicans for years--
I suppose I'm out of patience--
Having said that, mothers who are awake could be a good presence on such a site--

and there are, unfortunately, plenty of them; that is why I am a bit suspicious of that as a 'tenet'--
I didn't see much about the constitution, but I will go back and look.
I want to be fair--
I just came through, not unscathed, a heartbreaking altercation with a long-time friend who has rejected our friendship in part, because I have supported Ron Paul and am not in favor of the "War on Terror"--

I didn't see anything about peace on the 9 tenets, either--
My not-anymore friend is a huge fan of Glenn Beck, and I have watched youtubes (I don't have tv) of the program where he 'warned' America that those who align themselves with the same views as Ron Paul are 'fringe' and can be dangerous, even domestic terrorists.
I have seen what "America" does to 'terrorists', and I am not, at this time, willing to put myself into the position of being easy prey . . .
Therefore, I am cautious.
I am not sure I wouldn't do more harm than good by pointing these things out--
as I said before, why 9/12?

Why not something as simple and pure as "back to the constitution"--
or "moms for the constitution"--
?
Because 9/12 is used, rather than 'constitution restoration' I am wary; I am not exactly sure that these are people who do want to protect and defend the constitution--
There may be some among them, but the battle will be hard, if my past experience is any evidence.
THAT said, I have seen loved ones 'wake up', and it's a wonderful thing--but it took my patient waiting and not much arguing/debate; it took personal crisis and meeting people on the 'other side' (quite literally)
