Just got a call from NRA wanting my support

I told them they refused to support RP , I refuse to support them.

I was a member of the NRA up until 2006 and then I woke up! The NRA has had their collective hand in every single piece of federal gun regulation and registration since the National Firearms Act of 1934! There are over 20,000 federal gun laws on the books. Do you think that the NRA would help us out in abolishing any one of them? Do you think the NRA would help in abolishing the BATFE? Fat chance. I wrote to Chris Cox several years ago and in my heartfelt letter I explained on multiple levels why all of our current gun laws and the BATFE need to go away. His response to me was that the NRA /NRA/ILA is not in the business of trying to repeal current gun laws nor is it in the business of trying to get rid of government agencies that help put away criminals!

The NRA calls me about every 2 months. I remind them that they supported Arlin Spinctor for Senator in Pa. and took out a full page add in the NRA magazine the month of the primary elections. They will never get a penny from me again. GOA is a much better group.
