Chicago ELIMINATED as Olympic site (in 1st Rd. of voting)!

What does this say to Obama and his influence in the world? What does it say? It says he has no influence whatsoever and the "World" sees us as a bully and a tyrant and not worthy of hosting an Olympic event.
Obama just "talks the talk". He does not "walk the walk"!
When you rule the world with an iron fisted empire, these things, inevitably, will happen. Lets see how the media "spins" in.

Sorry for the caps but the whole idea was ridiculous given the current economic situation... I live 80 miles west of CHI town and I can tell you for a fact that this was a serious case of champaign taste and beer budget mentality.. Not to mention that they were considering tearing down low income housing complexes( projects) to make room for the new stadiums...
Last time they tore down projects, CHI gave those residents moving cost and other incentives to relocate them to my city... Now our crime has jumped by 5% in the last year.....

During the entire leadup to the vote
I kept saying to myself, how are we going to pay for this? But, then again maybe if we had gotten the Olympics we could have just printed the money.
