Eligibility of Obama FINALLY gets a date- WOW

The California court has already rejected most of Taitz pleadings and the next item on the agenda is a hearing on whether her case should be thrown out altogether AND Taitz penalized for wasting the court's time.

It's worth noting that Taitz, despite claiming all sorts of inside and well-placed sources of information in Kenya, has offered up two very different documents as Obama's birth certificate, both containing serious solecisms indicating they are forgeries. The source of at least one of them, Lucas Smith, who tried to sell it for a million bucks on eBay, has bailed out as a witness rather than testify in court about his document.

Somewhat neglected in all this is a case pending in the District Court of DC, a Freedom of Information suit against the Dept of State (which keeps passport records) and Homeland Security (which inherited the immigration & naturalization records from the Dept of Justice), ostensibly demanding whatever papers show that Obama was born in a foreign country. The govt has responded that there are no such papers, that Obama was born in Hawaii as a natural-born citizen, that he was never legally adopted by Soetoro, that he never relinquished his US citizen nor took up any foreign citizenship. Also, about 6 weeks ago, the House adopted a resolution marking the 50th Anniversary of Hawaii Statehood that included the statement that Obama was born in Hawaii.

The birthers are still beating a very dead (and now stinky) horse.
