My e-mail is going something like this:
Thanks for having our next president on your show. I watched for the first time today, but I must tell you it will be my last. Your host, Joy, makes it almost unbearable to stay tuned....

Watch more than just the actual interview segment
I made a point to watch the entire program of 'The View' this morning. Dr. Paul received quite a bit of complimentary, productive promotion during the first long segment of the program, before any of the guests were brought out. In fact, much of the 'hot topic' discussion was peppered with positive commentary about Dr. Paul or topics near and dear to his heart (and a sort-of cute joke or two about his field of medical expertise). His performance today was exactly what I have come to expect from this graceful statesman. If you consider today's program in it's entirety, you might feel as I do: that Dr. Paul's message received wide exposure to a much needed demographic this morning.

Paul should have responed "you wanna bet your ever cent in your pocket?" Election Day 2008, Stephanopolous and Behar can foot the bill for an Innaugural Blimp.

felt that Dr. Paul held his own. I think it would spark some interest from viewers at home.

Anyone Have a Video of the Show?
My VCR chose not to record it, and I'm terribly interested in seeing the show. Can't find a video on YouTube or the ABC Web site.
That wasn't Joy Bednar
but it was George Stephonopolus in his Ghoulian outfit. Whoelse would love to see Dr. Paul not win and who was the first to say it nationally.
Stephonopolus get ready to pay up to the good Doctor.

I couldn't help but think
I couldn't help but think that Ron had been dropped into a beehive of females that would not stop buzzing! Being a talkative female myself I understood the format right away even though I've never watched the show. It's just a bunch of strong women spouting their views and Ron did SUPERB in those circumstances! What unarmed peaceful man can out talk a gaggle like that? I agree I could not stand watching the show format or hosts but I also think that the women who DO watch the show and like it got a good dose of our man Ron. Believe me as a woman I'm impressed.
i agree. lol, beehive of
i agree. lol, beehive of females.
come on folks, be constructive
Yes, Joy's comment was out of line, and it's OK to say so, but do it nicely, a la RP himself. We can't be biting the hands that invite us onto TV. The appearance will help; RP answered the questions put to him and didn't evade them, and demonstrated for the world -- yet again -- what a nice and thoughtful guy he is. Let's stop with the hate emails already. Aim for causing them to want to have him on again, not for burning the bridge.

Be thankful that Ron was on the show? Their ratings jumped today because they had Ron on the show. They should be thanking Ron, not the other way around. They had a chance to pick up a whole section of viewers, but they blew it. If that comment about Ron not winning (which seems to be a theme among these tv types) hadn't happened, I, and thousands more would have been saying-The view had Ron Paul on their show, and it was awesome. But instead, Joy takes a scripted pot shot at our hero to wrap up the interview. Maybe the good Doctor won't adress this with animosity, but we as a viewing audience sure can. As a matter of fact I think we have to. Treat him with respect and your ratings will go up. It's that simple. These people will follow the money, and the money is in ratings. Ratings mean bigger advetising which mean bigger dollars. But now, when I hear -The View- I'll be saying, "oh ya, they kind of disrespected my hero"; not really worth watching.

Most people still don't know anything about the elections!
Most still think:
. that Giuliani is a hero mayor that saved a lot of people
. or that Hillary is to be elected as the first woman president
. or that Obama needs to be elected as the first african-american president.
People's analyses of the candidates are very superficial. They react more to tabloids and to Fox noise than to real information which you really need to dig to find. Relatively few people search the internet, read several papers or draw their own conclusion on important issues.
However, elections are won by a smaller percentage of the people. The ones that will go out and vote! I believe we will get RP elected because we are intensely determined to move RP to the White House no matter how much snow, cold, wind, rain, flood, earthquakes. We will be there to vote for him no matter what!
The uninformed others aren't really that concerned or are just alienated and very likely will not participate in the political debate. Walmart shopping is more tempting. Few will really make an effort to get out and vote. Just look how much support they are getting from their base! Now compare to Ron Paul's crowd! They don't stand a chance!
The R3VOLUTION is growing!!!

"You take the blue pill and the story ends. You wake in your bed and believe whatever you want to believe. You take the red pill and you stay in Wonderland and I show you how deep the rabbit-hole goes. -- all I am offering is the truth, nothing more."
Have any of you ever watch that show???
They all talk over each other and never let anyone say anything. You should NOT get worked up over this, its just the way it is. Ron did wonderful. Abortion is a tough subject and he handled it superbly. That seems to be an important issue for their audience and he definitely won over some new supporters.
Trust me, it is difficult to watch that show.... it's just their format. Just having his FACE on that show was worth it.
Sending anytype of negative emails to the press or T.V shows is counter productive. Another words, I recommend that you be GRATEFUL for Ron Paul getting Airtime. Thank these people. Show some gratitude if you want Ron Paul to win...
That's the bottom line my good people. Kill them with kindness and they will be on your side.
If you want Ron Paul to lose, just keep up with the hate campaign....
Straight out of George Stephanopoulos mouth
The poor airhead probably listens to George Stephanopoulos and thought it would be funny to repeat what he said again.

ya but..
One thing you have to understand is that Americans love winners. I get more people telling me that they won't vote for Ron Paul because he is "never gonna win" than for any other reason. We a have to call these people on their hit shots. Ron deserves respect, and these people need to show it. When I hear an interviewer finally say "this is the next president" or something to that effect, believe me, he or she will get one endearing email coming from this Ron Paul foot soldier. Until then, I'm gonna tell them how it is.

Thanks for having Ron Paul on your show today.I am a huge Ron Paul fan and have worked hard at helping raise awareness and money. I as did other Ron Paul supporters who are working very hard took Offense when you said" you wont be elected" You could say "in my opinion" but you state it as fact, it was just tasteless and rude to Dr Paul and a slap in the face to all of us who are working so hard to get him elected. I wont watch your show again. Troy Molde
It's not necessary
It seemed to me both the other hosts and the audience let Joy know right away how out of line she was when the "you're not going to be president" remark left her mouth. She back pedalled pretty fast on it, too. I think she's already been corrected well enough. I'd never seen "The View" before, and I didn't like how trivial most of the content of the show was and how air headed all the women came off, but I wouldn't mind if Ron Paul was on the show again. He needs more exposure to potential women voters.
I just emailed them
And thanked them for having Dr. Paul on their show! I believe Dr. Paul is the only Republican who has had the guts to appear on 'The View'. And I think he did very well considering he got talked over more than he did on O'Reilly.

Try and make a positive comment.
Whatever happened on the view is done. Anyone can see that there were positive things and negative things.
The negative things make us angry. That's all right. But it need not make us intolerant! It should also be clear that writing an aggressive e-mail is not going to be helpful in anyway. Think about it and let us know in what way is it going to be helpful to the cause?
On the other hand, writing a thank you note, even if it is not all that you feel has the potential of converting someone.
some of you take it
some of you take it easy...RP was in good light with these ladies.
Actually, I liked it.
Joy's comment gave Dr. P a chance to respond to all the nay-sayers. He sounded like he fully expected to win, and that is the kind of confidence I'd like the zillions of undecideds to hear. He handled it beautifully.
These women need to educate themselves
I watched the interview and Ron Paul was his usual wonderful candid self. He did a great job BUT I am a 58 year old woman and have watched the view for a long time and that interview was horrible. These women should at least have the decency to study a candidates positions before they have him or her on the show. To have a interviewer who's concerns were more about him being an OBGYN and abortion wasn't a very professional interview.
They did their viewers an injustice by not talking about the real issues facing Americans today, the war, jobs, inflation, the rapid decline of the dollar, nation building, loss of freedoms, etc. Abortion is a topic that has been discussed for decades and it's up to the courts to make the decisions, not the President for crying out loud. Then to say repeatedly that Dr Paul won't win, told the viewers out there that were getting their first look at Dr Paul, don't waste your vote. Since they obviously are out of touch with middleclass and lowerclass American women, they should have just given Ron Paul's website address and let us take the time to see his positions.
This type of interview is why America is in the mess that it is in today. Popularity contest not issues and voting record.
Correction: "These women need to ELECTROCUTE themselves"

Not that bad for the short interview.
Joy has been hosting Larry King live while Larry is gone at times. She has some inroads. Don't be mean...Ask to get Ron Paul on The Larry king Show! That would be great exposure.

Without knowing it they are working for us
When the media says this sh%$ it helps us. Don't you get it?
WE ARE THE CAN'T WIN, NO CHANCE, LONGSHOT, UNDERDOGS.
Humans identify with the underdog.
From childhood, we react emotionally to "can't."
Millions of viewers emotionally hooked with Dr. Paul when that "thing" said that to him.
Not one woman watching that phrase said anything to herself but this....."how does that bi^%$ know he can't win?"
They all said this also........"he's a good guy giving it his best shot and that Joy is a bi%$#."
This is how the emotions work in this campaign. It is why when McCain says the Hitler line at the debate...McCain lost big.
Let these dorks go. They don't have the courage to speak the truth? that is their loss.
The Doc was on the view and millions saw him tell the truth. That is all we need.

I've never been able to tolerate The View, what are you guys talking about?
As much as I like Whoopi, Baba Wawa and the gang are just way too annoying. I might be able to stomach this interview if it's on YouTube later.

DONT DO IT
Please stop the media harassment. Its not helping anymore. The cat is out of the bag. Kill them with kindness. Thank them for having him on and let them know how much you enjoyed seeing such an honest politician on the airwaves. Then tell them that it would be nice to see him on again in the near future...
This idea of Paul supporters being bratty college kids wont end if we keep antagonizing the media.

I Watched It
The actress, Kate Walsh said flat out she likes Ron Paul alot.
I thought Joy's comment was uncalled for. "You know you're not going to win, right?" I think someone probably told her to say that.
I thought the questions were better than the ones Ron usually gets, but they spent way too long on abortion.
Well look who the comment
Well look who the comment came from, there's no reason to have to go into any detail. These women mainly have the view-point of the house wife who watches too much TV. So if anything maybe this will inspire some people to go on the internet look up Ron Paul and then they will become an avid supporter just like the rest of us.
Let's just keep in mind that there are still a lot of ignorant people out there who only pay attention to the MSM and because of this they really don't know much about Ron Paul or th impact he is really having on this country...
Same thing happened with Bill Maher and look at him now...

The view
I just emailed abc this:
The Views interview of Ron Paul was inconsiderate and rude! Joy just went on and on about abortion! I wanted to see what his stance was on other issues, like the war and healthcare. Thank you Whoopi for asking one good question about China! Here's what really pissed me off: telling someone who has been working for 12 months, night and day, that they know they won't win the nomination! It's just terrible, absolutely terrible!! Either fire Joy or put a muzzle on her!!
For Liberty... Ron Paul.
