Air Force, Boeing test laser weapon

The Air Force said the laser's precision could be especially helpful in urban environments where military targets are often surrounded by noncombatants.

Will guns even matter??? I know the above statement has to do with reducing collateral damage but...for every good intention there always seems to be an underlying dark intention.
