ALIPAC has just released a stealth plan of Executive amnesty through Homeland Security, which will rubberstamp illegal aliens as legal citizens. but I think they have a totally different system that allows large numbers of people to be legal non-citizen guest workers. If we had their system, would the "illegal" part of immgration look about the same here as it does there?

People here have dug up evidence that seemingly supports allegations that tens of millions of illegal aliens will be legalized.
The purpose of the 850+ completely operational, completely staffed and completely empty prisons we have sitting all across this country, waiting to receive prisoners, is defined in the Patriot Act. The primary purpose is cited to be for detention of a massive influx of illegal aliens crossing the border from Mexico. The real purpose of the FEMA camps was very thinly vailed since there were plenty of illegal aliens to fill them all this time that they have sat there empty. Whatever they are going to do to us to make us need to be detained in their eyes, hasn't happened yet. The camps are empty but staffed.

Given all the evidence we have seen of increasing and implementing the full on presence and intentions of a police state... Maybe I'm alone on this one
But I think making the illegal aliens legal could be a positive.
Before you rip me a new one, try this:
1. The huge influx of immigrants in the late 1800's (when half of my family tree arrived) did not result in massive unemployment. Instead, the U.S. became a job producing machine. Why? Because, as a free market economist pointed out, everyone arrives with two hands and a mouth.
They produce AND consume. Jobs are not a finite commodity, they are created by humans everyday.
2. The millions of illegals today cannot get a mortgage, and cannot buy a home. Made legal, they will snap up the empty homes all around the U.S. and solve much of our oversupply problem.
3. There are lazy illegals, and there are industrious illegals. The lazy ones will try to take advantage of every freebie they can get (which is human nature), but the industrious ones will save money, build businesses, and add to the economy. Some studies show the lazy-on-the-dole are more prevalent, some show the industrious are more prevalent. If you want to keep lazy-tax-eaters out of the country, you'd have to eject about half of all legal Americans!
4. The pressure those lazy illegals could put on the welfare state could cause even good Democrats to consider changing the welfare state laws. Our message of limited government and low taxes in exchange for self-reliance may seem more attractive.
I'm not a big believer in Jeff Rense. Between the UFO stories and the anti-Jewish diatribes he kind of blows his credibility.
On the ILLEGAL immigrant front and the Bias towards Rense
First off, the Mexican, Hondurans, El Salvadorans, etc. are breaking our laws by entering our country illegally. If we don't stand behind 'the laws', and enforce them on invaders who broke them, why should anybody need to obey 'the laws'? Apparently, you don't live in an area where their are tens of thousands of them, and see how they are trying to change our culture into to theirs, and many believe in the 'Reconquista' [to take back the lands their ancestry once resided]? In Houston, they have La Raza ''the race'' and LULAC, who have lobbied to get home mortgages, car loans etc, These groups have all been funded by Zionist/Illuminati Jew George Soros. This leads us to the the Jeff Rense false pretense of being anti-Jewish. Jeff allows TRUE Free Speech and True Free Journalism, though he may not agree with all of what is on his site. As to your point that the influx of Central American immigrants is "illegal," I grant you that, too. If the current immigration laws were in effect in 1885, I'd be a Swedish national today. Maybe that would ok with you. After all the first generation of my family never learned to speak English, the second generation learned Swedish first, then English, and they retained many of their Swedish traditions right up to my own generation. With me, however, it didn't take. I'm pretty vanilla American.
Maybe that's the way it would work with the Mexicans?

No You are not alone on this one. I don't agree with everything you said though. There is much more laziness in American people than in illegal immigrants. Not only in workplace but even in schools. Children of illegal immigrants do much better and study much harder than kids of American citizens.
I don't want to live in a country where swat teams break into your home in search for illegal immigrants, place millions of woman and kids in concentration camps and forcefully destroy lives of families.

I agree the laziness can be generational
As some of my Viet Namese and Mexican friends have admitted, the older generations were hardworking, saved and stayed out of trouble. The second generations are more spoiled, and have bought into the ultra-consumerism without no thought to accumulating debt. THEY are also a product of our public school system! And yes you could purchase a house without citizenship. Although it's harder for anyone to buy a house these days. But even now some illegals are going back to their own country. So in essence they are not oblivious to the fact of what is going on economically in this country. If the US is becoming more like Mexico...why leave??? They go where the work is, and they may actually turn around and go south, Brazil's economy is booming.

They can also get credit cards too(Bank Of America and some other banks don't require a SS number to open an account).
Also, Ron Paul is against amnesty for illegals(and I agree with him), so naturally he opposes Obama's efforts to give them citizenship. As someone else said, back in the 1800's we had no welfare, no we do, and many illegal aliens can and do take advantage of it, even though a 1996 law was supposed to make it illegal for illegal aliens to be given access to welfare, the law is often ignored and rarely enforced. Some cities openly advertise welfare benefits(such as foodstamps) are open to ALL residents, regardless of citizenship status(city workers are not allowed to ask citizenship status of applicants in some cities as well).

Naw, you've got RP on your side
RP suggests we not "scapegoat" illegal immigrants. I'm with RP. I don't blame anyone who comes to America with the intent of making their life better, and I admire and respect those who achieved the American Dream many Americans failed to achieve. I am sorry for those who came and became crime victims, which many are, especially in our war on drugs.
I blame the governments and corporations who mislead aliens to come here and then make their lives living hell, dumping these people on the American tax dollar fiunded programs, reducing the quality of life for Americans, and expanding the police state.
That said, maybe it's because I love Mexico, but don't like it's politics, which is seems the USA is becomming more like Mexico, I believe Mexicans can relate to RP's message better than Americans. In the beginning of this rEVOLution, ALLOT of hispanics were very excited about RP, and I saw more than a fair share of videos of grassroots YouTubes reaching out to RP in Spanish. I would see a couple posted here on DP and they would be ignored, and attacked, which as you know... everybody and everything gets attacked here, on some level (or ignored), but the passive aggressive racism, which prevails, and in some pretty bright folks, who seems to not understand, we are here to grow, not divide, but divide they do, in the name of RP rEVOLution.
