I just want to let everyone know, "Biased" is a word too
They use it in books. Remember books? Media bias, biased media. I have seen no less than 50 people screw this up in the last week.

Instead of discussing all this on the internet, go out and Do Something! Plan to go to this event and wake others up to the REAL media agenda. Get them to turn off their TV! Wake them up to the false left/right paradigm. Wake them up to the principles of liberty. Bring DVD's, posters, hand outs, etc. Some of these people will be impossible to wake up, so don't waste what little time you have left on them. However, some of these people will be open to the truth. These people are future patriots.

There are plenty of YouTube videos that expose the media agenda. I think JBS has one. I've seen others that hit it from a slightly different angle. Burn these to disk and hand them out. These are the same videos that woke us up to the media brainwashing. It will work for some of these people too.

FOX wants to gauge how well their attempt to corral the Tea Party movement is working. Last week, I caught a segment with Frank Luntz-the-Duntz on Glenn Beck. Luntz was telling viewers what message to use on signs when protesting. His suggested choices were very vague, for instance, just the word "Why?". This would make it very easy for FOX to create and direct it's own message when reporting on protests! Everyone needs to recognize the marketing ploys used by the media, and when Luntz is involved, you can be certain there is a carefully planned scheme to manipulate the public!
Any protest of media bias MUST call out FOX's own history of manipulation, and their hypocrisy, considering their actions during Bush's administration - when the constitution and fiscal conservatism were discarded!! Not to do so, would make protesters complicit in that hypocrisy!

If you don't want to go then don't, but you're losing the war. The only, the ONLY reason healthcare didn't pass is because us "Tea partiers" got in the congressman's face and told them like it is, and we stood with the "Nutters" who were merely misguided neocons. If you want to go the wimpy way and let others decide what protests you're allowed to attend then go right ahead, but you'll lose-BIG TIME. Stand up now or lose your rights forever.
Also, no matter what FOX news tries to tell people this was started as a grassroots effort. They can try to make it seem they started it, but really it was the rallying cry at the D.C. March and a good second volley against our current regime. If anyone ever goes onto facebook look up the movement-it's all ordinary people who give a damn.

The "Tea Parties" (after our Ron Paul real-ones) are anything but grassroots. They may have been planned by normal people, but there was help and media support. They are controlled opposition used to maintain the false left/right paradigm. Have you not seen how they are portrayed to the majority of Americans on the non-Fox channels?
Also, are you saying that my letters and phone calls to Congress and people asking good questions at town hall meetings (not the "socialism" morons you saw on the news) were less effective than some redneck with a T-shirt from Hannity's store and a "Obamunnism" sign? I doubt it.

Neither thread has been permitted
One was about how 100% of the people in a small office where a friend works reacted to the seasonal flu vaccine, and NONE of them were reporting an adverse event. (They don't want to burn PTO.)
The other was about what seems to me to be heavy-handed "moderating" but I was not attacking anyone.
Last night was the first time it happened. I posted a thread that I admit was off topic. I had been digging into HHO and came across this amazing amphibious car. I brought it here as a little laugh, I got a message that my thread was in queue to be moderated. Same message both times this morning. If the thread last night ever got posted, it was after I went to bed.
I posted one last week with the line "Cheers, trollios" that got moderated down to "Cheers." Well, that seemed a little unnecessary to me, too. It was a toast to the trolls, clearly not calling anyone a troll. I am not sure why I get to post replies, but half expect to see myself banned or whatever soon enough. So, no, I am not privy to the minds of the moderators, nor do I any way to know if it is a computer blocking me or a human. Whatever it is, it sends a message to me... "STFU."
