.... seeing as his father is Irwin Schiff the tax protester who is now in jail I doubt there is any connection.

Peter Schiff is the ONLY candidate the understands the complexity of our financial problems that our government has gotten us into! Watch the YouTube clips of his appearances on a wide variety of shows that discuss our country's financial situation going back several YEARS! Does ANY of the other candidates have ANY understanding of the global financial markets, including and Especially Sen. Dodd? I would personally LOVE to see a SMACKDOWN between Schiff and Dodd! The rich bitch knows only how to enrich HERSELF, as does Sen. Dodd! We have TOO MANY Millionaires in Both Houses of Congress now, and that is a BIG part of the problems we face as regular working stiffs; they have NO CLUE what it means to live in our world!

Mr. Schiff's problem
is that he doesn't outline a solution (in terms that normal people can understand)- which is often the case with our favorite doctor.
I would contend that people generally don't grasp the concept of "commodity-backed currencies" or "competing currencies" or "fiat money/legal tender". He hasn't made people "snap" (neither has Ron) that the FED is a private cartel who's pumping our country. Simply being "the most accurate Bitcher" won't get him elected. He has to bring a solution that regular people understand.
I like Peter Schiff and have contributed to his campaign. But (IMHO) he has got to stop whining about what's wrong and put forth a solution. Being "right" ain't gonna feed the bulldog...
