Ron Pauls Congressional seat challenged

In a bid to unseat incumbent congressman Ron Paul, Gerald Wall yesterday announced his bid to seek the Republican nomination for Congress in Texas District 14.
The district includes part of Fort Bend County and much of Cinco Ranch.
Wall, who works in the petrochemical maintenance industry, said he is a strong conservative and family values candidate who believes the most serious problem in the country today is the career politician.
“They are the problem, not the solution,” Wall said.
He also called Paul “out of step with voters.”

Ron Paul is nationally recognized right now, whereas these clowns aren't. It will be interesting to see if Limbaugh or Hannity (I looooaaaathe Sean Hannity...) Bring up this guys name for a lil' RNC recognition. I couldn't see Beck outright supporting the guy, but im not holding my breath for him to throw any help RP's way either.

Before 2010 election we need to make sure paper ballots, hand count at precinct, in full public view.
Finding useful representitives
Was this predictable? Dr. Paul has friends across the political spectrum and he has been sharing with us his concerns about personal liberty and individual responsibility. To take hold of one’s responsibility to attempt a rational critique of those things that hinder or inhibit our liberties is an open invitation.
We have been bamboozled by many politicians. They tell us what we want to hear and in return we, far too often, reward them with our votes. This has not worked out well either for us or our neighbors.
It would a mistake not to take this GOP challenge seriously. From the excerpts I have read this appears to been produced by sophisticated political manipulators. Each phrase is designed to be something that someone wants to hear. When polling begins, the phrases that worked will be overused and others dropped. Instead of chips or cola the product is the politician. Every two years we get to pick a Congressman. Can we distinguish between a useful Representative and a packaged political product well marketed? If so how?
In this game, we are not spectators and arm-chair coaches, we are the players. The GOP has a tough game ahead. They must work to discredit the Dr. Paul’s libertarian philosophy and the Democrats without contradicting themselves. We can make the task harder while becoming better informed ourselves.

Look on the bright side.
While Mr. Wall is running for Dr. Paul's Congressional seat, at least he won't be engaging in other mischief, such as transporting girls across state lines for abortion, burning American flags, or participating in peace demonstrations, I also don't think that his quixotic and bizarre run will slow down the good Congressman's efforts to audit the fed very much.
Republicans like G, Wall are one reason why the GOP has been known as the "Stupid Party".
