Gerald Wall Announces His Candidacy For Congress, Challenging Incumbent Paul

In a bid to unseat incumbent congressman Ron Paul, Gerald Wall yesterday announced his bid to seek the Republican nomination for Congress in Texas District 14.
The district includes part of Fort Bend County and much of Cinco Ranch.

Wall, who works in the petrochemical maintenance industry, said he is a strong conservative and family values candidate who believes the most serious problem in the country today is the career politician.
“They are the problem, not the solution,” Wall said.
He also called Paul “out of step with voters.”
Wall also said he has “serious differences of opinion” with Paul on issues such as his refusal to protect the American Flag, his refusal to support the military during a time of war, his vote against protecting teenage girls from being transported across state lines to have an abortion without parental consent and his vote against protecting the consumer against price gouging during a disaster.
“As our country spirals towards a financial meltdown, our very freedoms and liberties are in jeopardy. At a time when, the future of our children’s prosperity is being robbed, the last thing we need are more doctors and lawyers in Washington,” he said. “We need a representative of the people, elected by the people, who will stand for the people.”

It is time to boot the Republican "leadership" in Texas
It says so much about the Republican party that they work every year to get rid of the last honest man in Washington. I give my money to Ron Paul, and as far as I am concerned, he is MY congressman, even though I live a long way from Texas. He is the last person in the completely corrupt farce of a government that we have that works every day to actually better our country, and return us to the government that our founders died to give us. How dare the right wing buzzards dig up some scumbag and presume to have him replace Ron Paul. I guess Ron Paul, and this movement are gaining ground, but clearly we have not gained enough. It is time to break the back of the GOP good old boys network that wants to continue the old rape the citizens for personal gain government that we now have. I am appaled and disgusted, but I am also inspired to redouble my efforts. Screw you GOP, and your little buddy Wall too. This is OUR country and we are taking it back. I guess the GOP is still as tone deaf as the Democraps are to the rising voices of discontent in America. Too bad for them.
