SAS: Serious About Strategy.

Knowing CT as I do, just sent this message to Peter Schiff's campaign. Please do the same if you agree.

Peter:

I will support you personally, the Senate needs you. Please know:

Unlike Rand Paul in Kentucky, your fortunes in CT require that you get young people and independents to register Republican. I urge you to make a media splash now by advocating the US does NOT increase troops in Afghanistan, rather we develop a timetable for removing boots from the ground. Ron Paul's anti-war moment with Rudy Giuliani in the debates was a sea change for the Doctor. I know you also believe in small government across the board and announcing this foreign policy position would have a profound impact on your name recognition and political positioning.

Just as we have a thread here with Palin urging more troops, now is the time for Peter to own the 'America must not be the world's policeman' issue. It would work in CT.

The first 5 million supporters of Dr. Paul are 'early adopters.' The next 10 million will require a modified approach.

Schiff is doing much of anything...I mean does he have any fund raisers scheduled or and speeches in CT...If he does I am not aware of it...we need to get on Schiff....

and I hope the Schiffster is stepping up his game in CT, or I fear that he might lose. Any CT insiders know how he's managing his campaign?

Rand's campaign is growing at a good pace and the youth is being mobilized around the state's major campuses. How about Schiff's?

There's plenty of time but I hear you. Rand beats Grayson and he's in the finals. Peter's road will be much longer. Up here, his financial predictions are terrific credentials but he definitely needs more, and being anti-war can provide that. His calendar picks up soon but I think he's still surveying the land.

Let him run his own campaign. We know the guy is anti-establishment.

I hope someone with an inside track to Schiff's campaign can present this idea persuasively.
