What destroyed Detroit were corrupt politicians who, in addition to stealing tax money from themselves and their friends, refused to adapt to a changing economy. They still hold on to the hope that the manufacturing plants will magically reappear one day instead of trying to woo other industry and investments. They keep the taxes high and the business laws unfriendly, and then wonder why nobody wants to do business there. They keep the people poor and disenfranchised because educated voters would surely have kicked them out of office the first time they were up for reelection.

Blaming the fall of Detroit on Muslims (most of whom are here LEGALLY), Mexicans, whites, blacks, or any other race just makes you look like an ignorant fool who can't take the time to critically think about the REAL reasons why Detroit stubbornly refuses to turn itself around. Every time you blame a group for society's ills, you're playing into the elites' hands by falling for their distractions and going after the easy target. They want us to blame each other so that we don't direct the blame at the people who truly deserve it.
