Its a pretty easy answer....

Its pretty much the same answer as to why we were statistically more popular to over all population of Iraq than Saddam Hussein, yet we kept getting bombed and killed and yet nobody dared to cross Saddam while Saddam was in power. Because its Sadam's country, he knows the culture and everything and he knows how to crush opposition with infinite home resources. Just like I can only imagine China stopping crime, administered in China, better than the US government. It has some much more down to Earth reasons than one would assume.

Talk about globe trotting, we've moved from the Iraqi area to Afghani area, and soon Pakistani area. Once we cross India, we'll be in South East Asia again. That's what I call military progress! Charge!

The profits from those sales will come back into Wall Street. This will be a further drain on Russian influence in the region and greatly increase global instability."
