Just got around to signing the petition....
Yes, it's a lovely message...
...and one that Dr. Paul was delivering from the debate stage during the primaries.
Sadly, Mr. Dobbs seems to think this is about war, or about enemies. It's not. It's about money. It's about power. It's about control...and not control over some foreign land...it's about control over the American people. Because of the fighting, the media gets to manipulate our thought patterns with war propaganda, the Treasury Dept. gets you and I further into debt...debt that our great-grandchildren cannot pay-off....continuing the enslavement. These wars, invasions and conquering will get us the oil in Khazakstan and a pipeline to the Caspian Sea...and every bit of oil in the world will controlled by the same group of assholes that control our debt.
THAT, Mr. Dobbs, is what it's all about.

Did you actually listen to what he had to say? Hmmm, probably not. I'll sign a petition because it actually means I put my name on something making a statement. Will it do any good? Probably not. But I did it because I believe in it.
I have been reading a historical account of the U.S. from 1932 to 1972, written by William Manchester. In 1952 we began this precedent and people were screaming about it then, what it would lead to. Now we are in the nightmare we are in. This is bigger than just getting us out of the war. This is saying we want to change, in a major way, the foreign policy we have. By the way the book is called "The Glory and the Dream" and I highly recommend it as unfiltered history.

I did read that book a long long time ago, it's huge is pretty much all I recall. I love his Rockefeller book too.
