What Is Continental Congress 2009?
Tradition, Necessity & Legal Process Merge

For two weeks in November, delegates representing The People of the fifty states will join together in the tradition of the Founding Fathers and their Continental Congress of 1774. Continental Congress 2009 will convene as a national assembly of We The People and attest to the increasing abuses of our Governing Documents. Together, we will decide what peaceful, legal steps can be taken to bring about compliance with our Freedom documents.

acknowledge that he supports CC2009 in principle along with the 28 other freedom groups endorsing this historic event. Respectfully ask him, yes; beg him, no. Beg needn't be in any Patriot's vocabulary.

What will they come up with for an Action Plan?

We are held captive by fiat paper money.

We are held captive by employment and income taxes [a majority of us anyway]

We are held captive by the banks and the IRS.

We are held captive by the courts.

We are held captive by our current elected representatives.

We are held captive by an increasing Police State.

The list of grievances and Constitutional violations has been thoroughly documented. Nothing has happened or changed.

What will the next Action Step be???

I hear there are lots of new prisons in America. Maybe citizen arrests of ALL elected officials and those within ALL branches of government for violations of the Constitution would be a good start?

I believe this is just what the Revolution needs. A new national figure head to bring the various groups together and move the ship [activism] in the right direction.

Something to keep in mind, simply because a candidate is a Ron Paul supporter, does not mean they will be to everyone's liking here. If someone agrees with Ron Paul on 60-70% of the issues and disagrees with 30-40%, they could still technically be a Ron Paul supporter, because they agree with most of his positions. But that still leaves 30-40% of their views that could be very unpopular with most of the people here. I'd encourage people to look carefully at the positions on the issues(and if they have held an any office before, their voting record) held by candidates who call themselves Ron Paul supporters. An example would be a candidate who calls themself a Ron Paul supporter who is pro-policing the world(which Ron Paul is strongly opposed to), yet agrees with RP on just about everything else. Or a candidate who calls themself a Ron Paul supporter but who is for non-enforcement of all laws pertaining to illegal immigration(which Ron Paul is also strongly opposed to).
Do all candidates have to agree with RP on 100% of the issues? No, I'm just urging some caution and doing some research before throwing support behind a candidate who claims to be a Ron Paul supporter.
