"Compassionate Racism" vs "Willie Lynch Racism"
Submitted by OctoBox on Thu, 10/08/2009 - 20:05As a man of color (warning qualifier) I want to weigh in on all the extra-media race bating (especially that of Garafalo).
I do not like (hate is stronger) when white people tell me who is racist and how I should feel about it.
Racist is a very powerful label and should not be used lightly.
Racism is rooted in collectivism -- there is absolutely no liberty for the racist -- it is a perpetual war model. Trotsky would be proud.
It is "groupist" in construct.
A Ballot-Box-Voter is a Groupist
A Lobbyist is a Groupist
Racism is a "special" Groupist -- It is an absolute term.
A person might say the N-word to my face and not be a "racist" -- he might be black in fact. He might be drunk, he might be trying to hurt ONLY me.
An Individualist can "lose it" and use a racial slur or make a racial joke -AND- the next day kiss his pretty Latina wife.
The white people who "define" this for me -- in my "protection" are welfarist -- groupist -- and given the persistent ASSUMPTION of my defenselessness are necessarily RACIST.
The latter is a Compassionate Racist -- They create Welfarism and Affirmative Action so I can never say that I "stood on my own" nor will ever "go with out." During slavery these folks owned slaves but "treated them real good." *Big Toothy Grin*
Now give me a Willie Lynch Racist any day of the week. The Compassionate Racist "ruins" generations of people -- with their good intentions.
The Willie Lynch Racist stands on predictable ground -- He's so absurd that only a small minority of white people can occupy this role - title, in fact they kill more of their own kind then they do blacks anyway. Usually from drunken-inbreeding. They hate black / creole people so much they keep to their own -- they usually hate Gov't so they don't bother voting; thus they really don't effect us.
Besides no one kills black men like black women -- same is true for white women; we call it abortion. The latter given to us by "compassionate racists" like Margaret Sanger and Jeanene Garafolo.
This post could have been titled "Back Door Racist vs Up-Front Racist"

This is one of my least popular posts -- touchy topics or dots too difficult to connect? Who knows.
I'm glad you liked it.

*&^ Constitution --- Constitutional Rationality
That's a good analysis; another way
to describe the 2 types of racist might be: institutionalized racism (lucrative or power-accumulating for the "compassionate" bureaucracy) vs backwoods racist deficients.

Well said...
And not that I am advocating the use of racial slurs in any way, shape, fashion or form. But the word b*tch is is sex specific and used in a negative way to refer to someone you normally dislike, but you couldn't call everyone who uses the word in anger a sexist.
Not only is the "compassionate" racism far more insidious and destructive, but it also foments and generates the more direct racism in all directions. Anything that creates a "group" and gives them *special* treatment of some kind will generate animosity among all of those who are not considered a part of that group. I have a specific personal anecdote about this in a company when I gave my team special treatment (I believe deserved). The rest of the company started building up these hatreds towards the members of my team. It is a human instinct.
