Good bye NC Patriots
Hello (we hope) OK Patriots
It has gotten so bad here that we are forced to leave. We are selling most of our stuff just to get the gas money and go where jobs might be found. Everytime a business wants to come near this place, the county tells them what they can pay..and they always set the standard lower until no one wants to come to this once great textile county, where mills now stand empty, or have government filling them up to hire people for there ''top paying jobs of 8.00hr''
Thats what they say anyway.
We will regret that we have to leave our only grandchild..and that we wont be able to look up and see the beautiful Blue Ridge Mtns anymore...and our hearts will and are broken over it.
I hope we get to meet good people who belive in FREEDOM in Ponca...Any good suggestions on places to go..send them quick..we leave in 9hrs 45mins..(6pm)
Wednesday and Thursday, we saw something here we'd never seen before..Apache Helicopters flying low.(5 in 2 days).It seemed that some type of warning was coming from them..but we couldnt understand it..it was to muffled....They where flying so low you could see every detail just about....They where flying from the west (Asheville) headed east (Charlotte)...also smaller white Helicopters have been seen...criss crossing the sky..like they where trying to hide in the clouds....Very strange...very strange indeed.

I live in Gaffney, SC Cherokee County
Im 10 miles from NC and my county is second worst for SC in Unemployment, 16%! It sucks here too!

My Mom is Leaving Waynesville
I grew up in Chapel Hill, then Roanoke, VA. A couple of years ago my Mom moved to Waynesville and opened a business and discovered NC was a police state. She can't get an NC driver's license (I mean national ID card) because she has two different names on her various other forms of ID (because of a recent divorce), which is ironic because all the illegal aliens in VA have NC license plates and driver's licenses.
And get this; she owns a business in downtown Waynesville and has to pay property tax on it three times per year. 1. A county tax on the property. 2. A city/town tax on the property 3. A main street/downtown property tax on her property.
She's had enough and is selling everything and moving back to the (relatively) free state of Virginia.
