Just How "Surprised and Deeply Humbled" Is Mr. Obama?

According to the rules of the Nobel Prize nomination, a candidate receives an invitation for submission as a Nobel Peace candidate in September of the previous year, and must respond by the 1st of the subsequent February. That's right, in September of 2008, when nobody had even voted for the current President, Mr. Obama was under the illusion that he was qualified for a Nobel Peace Prize based on a few years as a community organizer, a little time in the Illinois legislature, an incomplete term in the United States' Senate, and a couple of books about his favorite topic -- himself.
By the February 1, 2009 deadline for submissions, before Mr. Obama had even stepped into office, he was no more surprised or humbled then than he is on this ignoble day.
This display is truly the antithesis of humility.
Now we know why he's been waiting so long to determine how to protect our troops in Afghanistan. Or is it too audacious to suggest such a thought.

don't be surprised if he ends up winning being the next Rose Queen on New Year's Day in the Rose Parade. Next, he'll probably win the Super Bowl all by himself! Heck he might even win the Heisman Trophy, too. If awards can be manipulated for Black Jesus, why not???
He certainly will win the Academy Award for Best Actor--where he can borrow Sally Field's Academy Award speech, "You like me; you realy, really like me!!"
As a young man with a facebook account
I have noticed an increase in the amount of people realizing what a phony Obama is. Lots of people posted links to these articles, and a majority of the comments were negative to Obama rather than positive (so much so that I didn't even have to put in any comments). This was certainly not the case a couple months ago... people are waking up exponentially. Put some fuel on the fire!

Doesn't Congress have to approve this "gift" or "emolument?"
Maybe Congress could be pressured to not allow him to accept it while he is President?

This award has the ability to influence the policy of the president. For example, how could a US president keep troops in Afganistan (which I would approve of), if he just won this award? Or maybe he will take on the impossible task of creating peace in the middle east instead of concentrating on the economy (which I would also agree with since he has no idea about economics, and anything he do will just hurt the economy). Hey, maybe this award isn't such a bad idea.... maybe he could spend all his time trying to broker peace and less on domestic stuff.
This prize has really shone a spotlight on his shortcomings.
Even the pro-Obama newsclips are admitting - "yeah he hasnt done anything-yet- but with this prize, hopefully he will do something". The message here is "Where's the Change?" Now the media is asking the question for us.

I think it tells your family's story
She is presenting the story of when Stalin and Then Hitler depatriotized or repatriotized the Poles, and it's a very important leson to America. I would have thought, by all your posts refeering to your family, that you would have politically capitalized on this.. taking the oppostunity to show people how the scars never heal?
I also believe that the video is showing us ART is the way to freedom, not science.

I will not bring up old wounds - Love Russians Germans and Ukrainians...why French and Germans are friends now even with so much vicious barbarism that occured between them in the past.
