I think the concept of an objective
and truthful peace price is a good one. But I'd think candidates such as the Dalai Lama would be high on the list; if it were just libertarian candidates, most people of the world would ignore it.
EDIT: the idea of a prize for Peace and Liberty is a really good idea; that comment came while I was typing mine.

With the right marketing and push behind it... this could be BIG!!!!! And ANNUAL, and involve lots of news releases that would steer people to the liberty message. OH.... the mind REELS with where this could go! And the idea below of the prize being a GOLD medal..... OH GOLLY this could be good.
