A few notes regarding my trip to Boston, Massachusetts
I just got back from my trip to Boston , for a friend's wedding.
***I wore my Ron Paul Revolution T-Shirt on my plane trip out of Phoenix (like I usually do when I fly).
***The only comment regarding said shirt, was a positive one from a airport worker in Cleveland, during a stopover. He shouted out "Ron Paul!" with a smile.
I also made a point to "show" people I was reading "End the Fed!"
(I was hoping someone would engage me in a conversation, but to no avail)
Okay , regarding Boston....
***Beautiful city, I love the architecture, and the energy of the city
***The history was great..I did the Freedom Trail, saw Paul Revere's grave, took in a museum or two
***I enjoyed a lot of great food and beer
***the people I met seemed nice enough....
HOWEVER**************
Is it the law in Taxachussets to have an Obama bumper sticker?
I must have seen at least 100 Obombya bumper stickers in my 2 days in the city.
For a city alleged to be "well educated" there sure are tons of Sheeple, who see nothing wrong with war all of a sudden, now that their boy, Johnny Change, is in charge.
My liberal friends, agreed him winning the Nobel Peace Prize was a joke, BUT, they still think he is a winner and will bring CHANGE.
These are the same people who think the New Deal saved us from the Great Depression, as will New Deal Part 2 from Obombya...
Sorry about the incoherent rant, but I am tired and hopped up on Nyquil, since I caught a cold there.
Anyone from Taxachussets care to comment on what it is like to be a RP guy in Boston, or Massachussets, for that matter?
Cheers,
TimB

Living in Boston,us Patriots are the minority. You are correct lots of Obombya stickers here, but every time I see one i run them off the road {in my mind of course}. The patriots who are around know one another from across the state. You need to go to the western part of the state where there are alot more of us. There are teachers, unions, professors etc who are in the city. All liberal democrats. But for the few of us around we do make noise.
There is a reason neighbor
There is a reason neighbor states call them 'Massholes' ;) Sorry, couldn't stop myself.

I grew up in MA
and now live in CT. Was up in MA today in fact, took a nice rural ride up, and noticed lots of liberty stickers on the way, I was quite pleased. I often complain about CT but we are a bit more realistic and skeptical than Ma. But you are right about the number of Obama stickers. I still have family in MA and they are split, 50% diehard Obama fans and 50% really really disappointed in him, my uncle for one is scared witless of what's happening. My sister in law is an atty for the state of MA, she's just blind as a bat about stuff and just happy to get her paycheck and benefits. I mentioned to her about the mandatory vaccine info for MA and she had no idea what I was talking about.

I grew up in MA and it has lost all it's roots to the founding fathers. When you look at the scandals during the "Big Dig" to the continued re-election of Ted Kennedy you find a state slipping into "Nanny-State" rife with corruption.
I feel for you!!!
I grew up in the New Socialist Republic of Jersey.
