Mom gets turned into Cops by Daughter for growing Pot.

She has back pain and can't afford to apply for the expensive state license to grow it.

The education seems to have dramatic effects.

In the all villages of Pursat province, teen-agers were removed from their families for intensive indoctrination. This was enough to endanger in them a passionately fierce commitment to the destruction of the old society and a total rejection of religion and all family ties. Angkar has as many eyes as a pineapple and cannot make mistakes.

The Khmer Rouge, I understood later, intended to eliminate the rich, the intellectuals, and anyone educated like doctors, engineers and professors, the majority of whom tended to live in the city. For the Khmer Rouge these people were part of a dictatorial and corrupt regime that exploited the poor, and they sought to destroy everything they thought belonged to this world: buildings, luxury cars, villas, refrigerators.

Since she was growing pot on her property, siezure laws probably allow the authorities to take the house, her car, and her money, etc... When the daughter ends up in the street with her mom, she may begin to rethink the "values" she learned in public school.

What's the deal? I agree, kid needs to get tossed. Respect the decisions of the homeowner, the parent, or get out.
She looks like a nice woman, nice house, not a slacker. Her comment about having to procure it elsewhere leading to more crime was perfect. Glad to see the local news let her have her say.

The kid probably went through the dare program at school..........was brainwashed into turning her mom in.

So does she realize she will likely do time? She should have thrown tha 19 yr old out a long time ago. I guess she will get to live in the house while mom is in jail? I would throw the brat out before court. I guess she will testify against her too? What an ungrateful brat! She is probably on pharmacuticals.
