Appealing to the Masses.

0 votes

I haven't posted in a long time. So I apologize if it is in the wrong place....

Do you think if the people decide to revolt against the banks that might appeal more to the masses than a revolt against the government? I know they are intertwined but is it possible that it is the opening in the dam of corruption that currently holds on the body of lies in Washington?

Could the Federal Reserve legislation begin this? Or could the people create more community banks to rebel against the current system that the big banks have control over..? Any comments appreciated...

Thanks..

my fear

is that they are actually planning on ending the fed anyway, (i say this in reference to the "they cannot be so stupid" argument) and they see our movement as an medium to act as if they are in opposition/ hiding something (which they are). by doing this they can continue their dirty work to make it as bad a crisis as possible. they can then either raise rates and begin the healing of the economy or continue devalue the dollar and see triple digit inflation... I think they are trying hard not to raise rates and save the economy but totally ruin it by crashing the $. then go under a new currency/IMF sdr's or whatever... so what I'm getting at is that, again, they can't be so stupid to think they could dig themselves in this abyss and everything would be fine- they want to end the fed too (end the dollar) and create a world central bank currency...
we should focus our effort not only to auditing and ending the fed, but to educate people about what "banking" actually is... I was talking to someone about how a 100% reserve bank would operate and they argued that no one would even bother to use it if it charged you vault rent every month... and honestly I kind of agree- why do we even need "banks"- communities could loan money to each other- my grandfather was always loaning money to folks who needed it and charging no interest.

Excellent idea

For all the reasons others listed

bump

for more ideas on this.

...?...!...

...I never looked at it like that...
...so obvious...that is a great idea...
...It would diffuse the lame, misworded argument used about being "anti-Government" (...ah, we are "anti-Tyrannical Government" as we all know), while rallying ever more support to end the Federal Reserve and return to sound money...
...Now we can loudly shout we are "anti-Federal Reserve" without giving the discreditors any lame labels or leg to stand on...
...This IS the weak link in the chain of corruption that is binding us all...
...Damn the Tyrannical Government, full speed ahead to End The Federal Reserve!!!
...END THE FED RALLYS ACROSS THE NATION 22 NOVEMBER...
...LET'S DO THIS...
...Hope this stays front page, this is a great topic...

I think you have something here....

Actually I think the reason that Ron Paul is devoting the largest percentage of his time and effort into stopping the Federal Reserve because if we get rid of the Federal Reserve, and their printing up money every time the government votes to do anything that costs money (even from corrupt bribes from lobbyists) the government won't be able to spend money that they won't have. So, getting rid of the Federal Reserve solves two problems. And it puts quite a damper on a lot of corruption too.
