Thought I outta write here so people check out the interview, it is very nice. This guy I support!
I heard him talk about Ron Paul with a caller that phoned in to a radio show about 2 weeks ago and he knows the FED is crap :).

and he knows who was behind it. Jim is looking for revenge and I believe he will stop at nothing to get it. I believe he will be elected to congress. I believe Jim will be a asset to our cause. AIPAC better get prepared...Trafficant is coming and he is looking to get even.

Traficant says he will testify for Demjanjuk

WASHINGTON (JTA) -- James Traficant, a former Ohio congressman, says he will travel to Germany to testify on John Demjanjuk's behalf.
Demjanjuk, 89, a Ukrainian death camp guard, was deported earlier this year to Germany to face murder charges. His trial is scheduled to begin in Munich on Nov. 30.
"I will also address the issue of John Demjanjuk, who is not being just prosecuted -- Demjanjuk and his family are being persecuted, and no one in Washington will help," Traficant wrote this week in a column he is launching in American Free Press, a publication that provides online links to Holocaust deniers. "I plan to help him and will testify in Germany about the crimes in the Justice Department if subpoenaed."
Traficant advocated on behalf of Demjanjuk when the retired autoworker was jailed in Israel from 1986 to 1993 on charges that he was "Ivan the Terrible," a mass murderer at Treblinka.
After initially convicting him, the Israeli prosecution later uncovered compelling evidence that another man was Ivan and shared this with the court, which released Demjanjuk. Nonetheless, the court noted that the evidence that Demjanjuk was a guard at another death camp, Sobibor, seemed irrefutable.
Upon his return to the United States, immigration authorities launched deportation proceedings based on Demjanjuk's covering up his Nazi past when he emigrated from the former Soviet Union in the 1950s.
Traficant, who served seven years in prison on corruption charges, in his column also promises to address in future columns the American Israel Public Affairs Committee "and its control over our very lives."

Have not heard much lately. Maybe he is working to help free his friend John D who was extradited to Germany. Anybody know?

I think HJR 390 should be re-introduced. It would shut the IRS down.

Could you be more specific as to which congress HJR390 was in? I checked 101st, 102, 103 and can't find anything relating to this. Do you know the name of the sponsor that was raked over the coals for his part in this bill?

dollar gymnasium with a couple of buildings for classes. We all need to look into allodial tax breaks in Texas, we're getting screwed at the top and at the bottom. Keep your money and school your kids privately or at home.

I wasn't really familiar with Traficant beyond seeing him in the news several years ago when he was facing charges, so I've been watching Traficant videos and saw this interview where someone was asked about him:

When asked what this person thought about Traficant being released from prison, he said it's time to re-elect him and put him back in Congress and that he and the founding fathers are made of the same stuff.
He said, "You need people like Jim Traficant. You need people like Ron Paul."
Then at the end he says, "I support Jim Traficant a thousand percent...and Ron Paul. Don't forget Ron Paul."

We need more people like him. Here's the thing, if Jim Traficant gets caught with a hand in the cookie jar he'd admit to it. If he were guilty of the things Reno and her injustice dept were accusing he'd have said "Yea you got me"
He's not a liar. He was railroaded out of Congress and everyone knows it.
He's outspoken and that doesn't play well when there are tons of people in washington with things they want/need to hide. Our Chicken s#it congress expelled him Look up another outspoken Congressman Hansen from Idaho http://www.uhuh.com/reports/hansen/hanhurts.htm He was outspoken also and hated the IRS and the FED as much as Traficant...See any similaities ??? I hope that he runs again in Ohio for a Senate seat. He's be elected in a landslide....

Traficant was the main energy behind the 1998 tax payers bill of rights that shut down 90% of the IRS audits.
And for f-ing wiTHE MANS money he got 7 years. Chertoff got to be director of homeland insecurity for putting James behind bars on BS trumped up charges.

Rhino, you need to do a bit more research into the trial that sent Traficant to prison. There are certainly some questions regarding the trial and the events around that trial. Consider the speech that Ron Paul gave on the subject during the congressional hearing to impeach Traficant:
Given the highly questionable activities that have been done for decades by our government -- especially in light of the fact that Traficant was one of the most vocal opponents of some of the strongest political cartels in the country -- one should not be quick to assume that justice was served in his incarceration. In fact, I am far more inclined to believe the exact opposite.

As I stated in my initial post here on this thread ...
The man had built a political machine in youngstown through kickbacks, bribes and political favors.
If we want to be taken seriously, we cannot endorse such a character.
I can live with someone who is more progressive in their beliefs such as Dennis K. up in Cleveland. I cannot live with endorsing someone who is corrupt at their core.
Dr. Paul was addressing the witch hunt nature of the trial. There is a difference between attacking the process and supporting the defendant.
Additionally, Dr. Paul was addressing these issues with respect to whether the House should give him the boot. As that as the context, I would have argued in the same line as Dr. Paul. He was elected and until such time as there is a replacement appointed by the State of Ohio I would see no constitutional remedy where the other members of the house have the right to unseat him.
I cannot endorse this man under any circumstances.
It is merely my opinion.

I could care less how someone gets in office if it means that someone is a person that will represent the interests of the American people. Our whole system of currency is illegal--Federal Reserve notes are NOT legal tender, nor have they ever been. Federal reserve notes (lower-case 'r'), however, were legal tender but only when issued as an advance and ONLY to be used within banks. Who knows if Federal reserve notes were ever issued to begin with, since they would have never of made it to the public. Either way, in '82 or '83, HJR 192 was all repealed and not one bank in this country has any value...you can't get real money. Every bank is bankrupt. With an entire system of corruption, a country that's been bankrupt and acting as a corporation since 1933 to which we are all sureties, you can't possibly say that bribing with money that isn't money is corruption.
That's assuming that he even accepted bribes to begin with as we do not have any proof of that. However, virtually every political official gets and accepts bribes in some form or another.
