It's almost impossible to refute all her claims because she continues to churn out new ones.

She claims that Hawaii would issue Hawaiian birth certificates for foreign born babies. But Hawaii wasn't doing that in 1961, it didn't start doing that until Obama was about highschool age. Further, the document made public by Obama last year says explicitly that he was born in Honolulu. It also says that his birth was registered with the Hawaiian Dept of Health within two business days of his birthdate.

She says that Obama has to identify the hospital he was born in, and the doctor who delivered him. I can't tell you that about myself. Can YOU provide those names? In fact, I think Jimmy Carter was the first Prez born in a hospital.

She also claims that even a mountain of proof that Obama was really born in Hawaii won't help because, she has decided on the basis of a legal textbook written in Switzerland nearly 300 years ago, that it's not enough that the President be a natural born US citizen but also that BOTH of his parents must also be US citizens. Apparently nobody told her about Pres. Chester A. Arthur, born in Vermont to an American mother and a British father.

The Buffalo (NY) News, on Jan 20, 2009, carried an article, "Teacher from Kenmore recalls Obama was a focused student," ....

... which reported that Barbara Nelson, now retired in Kenmore, NY, may be the only living person with memory of Obama's birth ... in Hawaii in August 1961. Dr. Rodney T. West, who died in Feb. 2008, had dinner with her in Waikiki back then, and told her that, "today", a woman named Stanley (Ann was her middle name) had a baby named "Barack Hussein Obama, now that's a musical name." Moreover he told her that the baby's father was the first black student at the University of Hawaii. Dr. West practiced at Kapi'olani Medical Center for Woman & Children in Honolulu. Nelson remembered this because (1) her father's name was Stanley, and (2) she later taught at the Punahou School in Honolulu and Barack Obama was one of her students and his father, then a Kenyan govt official, spoke at a school assembly.

All in all, we have more and better evidence that Obama was born in the US than we have for most other Presidents.

Cui bono? I suspect at the end of this all, Obama will have his good name cleared courtesy of the Orly show. But it is fun to watch, and I just LOVE it when I am wrong about this kind of thing. I hope this is one of those times!

What a crackpot! Could she have sidestepped the issue, changed the subject, or employed classic propaganda techniques any more than she did? What a rude, annoying, loudmouthed fool with not an ounce of sense or logic. Orly is never given the chance to speak a complete sentence on these hack shows, yet everything she is saying is not only credible but well-researched. Instead they try to make her look crazy. Only the fool will ignore what Orly is doing. She is right and these pathetic shills are a waste of existence. And by the way you useless puppets, it is not a left vs. right issue - I couldn't care less about the criminal George Bush or any of the other liars who have occupied the office of president. The issue concerns Obama being a natural-born citizen of the United States. It has nothing to do with Iraq, anxiety, or the false notion that nobody cares about this issue. I am ashamed to be an American today because gems like Joy typify American ignorance at its finest.

I'm not big on the birther thing ,but a good explaination for the birht anouncement being in the Hawii newspaper is that his mother had family there. My mother in law put weddings, births, funerals, from my family in her local paper even though noone that doesn't know her would know who we are or care. She would do it if we lived in another country too. She does it just so she can get the paper and cut it out for a keepsake. She is real thoughtful like that. When my mother died she made sure she got a copy of her obituary for me. I have to say I wasn't as thrilled as she must have thought I would be. Oh gee thanks.... Just what I always wanted. I will put it with all of my good memories of her. Sorry vent.

the comment "Weapons of Mass Destruction" and "George Bush" have to do with Obama's eligibility, it was another way for Joy Biotch to change the subject at hand. Did you all pick up on that? That is exactly what these media fakes do, along with quite a few of our government officials, they try to change the subject, or put the blame on others, even if it has nothing to do with the subject, it is what I call side-stepping the issues.
