Dan Walker, the Definition of Insanity and Lessons Learned

What follows will be somewhat impolitic, sorry-NOT

Most of us are well familiar with "The definition of insanity is doing the same thing over and over and expecting a different result".

Keeping the above in mind, I suggest we work on formalizing some basic Lessons Learned thus far we can all agree on ("WE" as in those that have been awake for more than 3 hours, WE guide the newby awakening process, newbies DO NOT edumacate "WE") ("can all agree on" as in most of the cats). These would be some basic principles to help us avoid repeating past mistakes and help newbies get quickly up to speed with what we have already learned.

Dan Walker(3 hour Dan) provides an example for these Lessons Learned. I do not know if Dan is here to deliberately weaken us(that does occur-LL) or is well meaning but naive, either way his "someone that can win" and "compromise" comments work against the awakening process. Not to belabor the matter or write an essay on this topic-Put simply these "ideas" have been some of the means by which the PTB keep getting their puppets elected and how they advance their anti-individual freedom/self-serving control agenda.

I intend to post a Lessons Learned thread to begin this discussion. I hope all the old heads will contribute/weigh in.

The Lessons Learned can include important wisdom from the founders, things we learned during the campaign, facts about those that oppose us, useful videos/books, etc. that we all can benefit from but particularly to help newbies that really wish to further our cause to quickly assimilate some fundamental knowledge. Perhaps the process to register here at the DP could include the step of reading these basics.

"You are a den of vipers and thieves."

I mean to rout you out!

-Just because you are among us, does not make you with us

-The door is wide open, anything can slither in

Only a Liberal - like Alison Stewart - would call Huckster,

Boehner, Graham et al Conservative!!! And Olympia Snowejob a moderate?? Don't hold your breath waiting for a story about Democrat infighting. And to answer Stewart's question as to where Graham and Boehner should go from here?? Out and Away!!

"teabaggery" comment especially ironic

Since Graham is most likely gay.

Woww....this was a decent coverage with no bias...can you be

Can you believe it?

Good points across the board....

Here is the answer to all your problems

GOOGLE kYMATICA AND WATCH or go to true world history dot info remeber to place in the dot

...not to go all "Tabloid" on everyone, but...

...If I did'nt know better I would swear Allison Stewart is actually Rachel Maddow in disguise...
...I KNOW, I KNOW, but look and listen real close...ignore the hair, the earrings, the slightly darker complextion...just take notice of her face and listen to her voice and superimpose Rachel Maddow...it is reeeeeeeeeally
uncanny the resemblances in looks and voice and mannerisms...
...I'm just saying... ;)

Damn, until I read your post, I actually thought Maddow had got a tan and a new haircut :)

I like how they ended by

I like how they ended by saying the Republican base is back and active unlike in 2008 but that this time they aren't just going to go along with what Republican leadership is telling them to do! Are we going stop being the sheep the Judge once called us? I sure hope so.

Ron Paul WON Louisiana in the Republican caucus!

but the LAGOP decided it was too risky to really count the votes and sent out a PR announcing a "pro life" slate had won. What happened? The LAGOP simply ordered a stop to the vote count.

Meow!

.

Better get a candidate that can win

Get a candiate that can win. That's the beauty and curse of elections - you have to figure out how to win.

Dr Paul has not shown he can get enough votes to even win a Republican primary state wide, much less a general election. You might not like Lindsey Graham -- but he has shown he can win elections.

If you don't like a political system that makes compromise necessary, then move to Cuba and you won't be bothered by it.

Truth matters.

1. after countless

1. after countless decades of electing politicians, it should be apparent to anyone, that politicians didn't make this country great. In fact they go out of their way to really muck things up.

2. if this country needs fixing, it's already quite apparent to me, that it's the people who will have to do it, not more politicians and bureaucrats.

3. number three... my favorite. foad, suck it, wtmkf, rotflmao, you piece of filth.

hello Lindsey

didn't know you read the dailypaul

you're nothing but a dumb

you're nothing but a dumb ass sheep. There is no compromise, there is only the one party and its damnable platform of special interest welfare/warfare.

Ventura 2012

Totally Wrong!

Nobody ever wins at all when the corrupt War and Wall Street candidates, like Graham, are allowed to run the Country, and muscle out the anti-Establishment people who want to actually change the system (for real).

That's why Ron Paul is the only valid choice here.

The only winning strategy for the American people is to keep on supporting Ron Paul, until he finally breaks through with numbers that are big enough.

Change is always a struggle, but you will never win a damn thing by supporting the Lindsey Graham wing of the corrupt GOP Establishment.

Voting for these Wall Street FAT-Cats and War Establishment hacks like Graham is only a ticket to your own slavery.

Bush-Cheney and their ilk (Lindsey Graham) totally destroyed this Country. Supporting them is a suicide wish.

How many states did Graham win in his presidential bid?

Oh yeah, he didn't have one. He won his Senate races just as Ron Paul has won his Congressional races, except that Ron Paul has won easily while Graham has barely squeeked by in a couple of his.

I never understand why bother winning if

the only prize is a booby.

Don't diss boobies!

I happen to like boobies! (My wife has 2) They don't deserve to be compaired to nyet.

Dan, the reason he won was

he had $5,000,000 from the banking and insurance industries! Bob Conley ran against him with only $50,000 from many people giving small donations and still managed to get 43% of the vote! Not counting Congressman James Clyburn told "his" people to split thier ticket and vote for Lindsey Graham!

Dan, you know nothing about SC politics!

Freedom is NOT free!

I wonder if we can get Bob

I wonder if we can get Bob Conley to Run Again?

It would really be helpful, if their was a Republican Running against him in the Primery terring him apart, so that when Graham wins, he's really week going into it.

Maybe the guy running in the Primary against Graham could turn around and endorse Conley even.

Hummm.

"Better get...

"Better get a candidate that can win." Didn't Thomas Jefferson say that?

Ron Paul is a sitting US Congressman

Don't come around here with that kind of attitude. Constitutional compromises got us where we are today.

He's a 2 hour old newbie....we REALLY must be getting to them!

sweeeeeeeeeeeeeeet

Compromise = socialism

Therefore, maybe you're the one who should move to Cuba, you'd fit right in.

Dan did you know that Graham is a Sexual Deviant

with many skeletons in his closet that are the strings that make him dance for Israel and the War Party? Why don't you wake up and understand that anyone protecting Israeli war crimes or promoting more war is compromised and probably a puppet for the elite.

"Human beings with love and compassion are some of the most beautiful creatures in the universe... Those without are a plague on us all."

"Human beings with love and compassion are some of the most beautiful creatures in the universe... Those without are a plague on us all."

I'm not the least bit surprised!

.

ummmm...

Do you have a baseline for sexual normalcy from which one can deviate?

Ha ha ha

win what? Win what, I ask? Win status quo and sellling out? NOT! The system is rotten and Graham is an example of the rotten fruit from the branches. The thing to do is chop down the tree; not try to win some more rotten fruit.

Go back under the rock you crawled out from under and read the Constitution while you are there.

Did you 'Win' with Bush?

People with scruples do not compromise their principles or values simply to 'win'.

The Ron Paul Revolution IS winning, that's why the lies and deception of these mealy mouthed politicians aren't working any longer.

After a taste of truth with Ron Paul, very few are going to return to the lies of the establishment.

This Revolution is real, it's a movement, not a campaign strategy.

The 'Win' for Bush was a loss for us all, period.
