Congress did *not* pass a health care bill on Tuesday.

The referenced video is of a committee hearing. On Tuesday, the US Senate Finance Committee members voted by 14 to 9 to send the proposed legislation on to the full Senate. This is a step toward the construction and passing of legislation but the vote itself, on Tuesday, does not constitute, without more, the making of a law.

in the news about Congress passing "health care" on Tuesday. This would be rather BIG NEWS. A "search" on yahoo only yielded news stories from February. Can anyone clarify what we are watching here.
