What is with the new posts having to be screened?

I spent some time yesterday putting together a post I thought would be helpful to everyone here. When I was done it said it had to be reviewed by a moderator.

Well, its the next day, its still not here. What's going on?

My school is flagged

I cannot post new threads from school until it's been approved. I can post new threads from home and the coffee shop. I'm very disappointed my university is flagged for approval. I can respond to posts from school and I feel like 9 hours are wasted away and it's pointless for me to look for news to post until I come home. Photoshopwiz has been very helpful looking in the spam trap for my posts, but she and the other mods shouldn't have to go digging in there all the time for legitimate posts from known members who are not troublemakers.

I made two new forum posts last night in the early AM hours.

Both said they needed to be reviewed. Neither one of them has appeared, and they do not show up in my list of recent posts.

Its very frustrating to put time into making a post and it never shows up.

probably the spam filter. If I can find it I will try to post it for you. The current filter does do bizarre things, which is one of the reasons Michael seeks to upgrade the site.

It took about 10 minutes for it to show up here.

I guess I'll repost the one I did yesterday and see what happens.

When it had not shown up yesterday, I hit the back button a ton of times to get back to the text so I could copy it.
