Leaked Hollywood Memo: Obama controls your TV.
this was posted before, but got buried. Please check the link and read the memo, it is very scary what is planned for NEXT WEEK!
LEAKED NETWORK MEMO REVEALS: Obama Controls Your TV Set
by John Nolte
On September 10, 2009, the Entertainment Industry Foundation (EIF) posted a press release informing the world that “from October 19-25, more than 60 network TV shows [will] spotlight the power and personal benefits of service,” and that this “unprecedented block of TV programming is the first wave of a multi-year ‘I Participate’ campaign.”
On its face this all sounds rather benign in that silly, liberal do-gooder kind of way. The networks have launched these kinds of campaigns before and other than some clunky exposition awkwardly inserted into your favorite show to meet the mandate — no harm, no foul.
But this year there are a couple new strangers in town: “Volunteerism” and “Service.” You’ve heard of them. Their names have been bandied everywhere since President Obama took office, and this internal memo from the EIF to network showrunners obtained by Big Hollywood shows that the entertainment industry is well acquainted and eager to introduce both to as vast an audience as possible:

The masses are already lost..
The vast majority of people in this country have given up the desire to live a life of their own choosing and they either don't realize it or don't care. They are the ones watching this prime-time TV garbage and actually "learning" from it becoming inspired from it's underlying content.
I've been blogging for about 6 years on a social networking site with an audience of several friends, co-workers and family members. Within this group it is safe to say that mine is the only voice of freedom, and while I work very hard to backup my arguments with sound reason and provide sources _they_ will even accept as credible - they remain skeptical. It is not that anyone has any substantive rebuttal, they either have unshakable beliefs based on public opinion or are too lazy to think. Over this time I felt it was productive for me to voice different views among a group I would describe as "comfortably middle class self appointed socially compassionate liberals". To them it is heartless to consider responsibility when someone in the world doesn't have enough money to eat - and pay their cable bill (not that they ever give a penny of their own to such people). I have always made it clear that I believe all people should draw their own conclusions and make their own choices - but should do so with responsibility and open-mindedness.
Just this week I have decided to take a break from trying to give new perspective to the masses. Maybe I'll get back to it, but I am burnt out. Let them watch their prime time TV drivel and dream about the personal glory of altruism while they sit on their couches and do nothing. This effort will not inspire people to take action, but it will further convince them that while they lazily sit on their couch watching more TV that "somebody" should help out - and by "somebody" they mean "somebody else".
This is the key point, the
This is the key point, the personal glory of altruism. It is everywhere in the northeast part of this country. Doing this layman's work is very valuable and it's also my personal vocation in the freedom movement. I am more optimistic than you. Although it seems like minds are never changed, seeds are planted that will sprout when circumstances change. Their Robin Hood mentality, they can't sleep well at night without it. But it can and is being trumped. By things like a TRUE realization that their entitlements and other government wealth transfers and wars and bubble-inflating debt are TRULY screwing their own grandchildren. Believing their kids and grandkids will TRULY be worse off is one reality that does open minds to personal liberty, free enterprise and a Constitution-sized government. That's what I trumpet (like at this link) and I see it working.

The first 5 million supporters of Dr. Paul are 'early adopters.' The next 10 million will require a modified approach.
I teach highschool
and before I read off the opening statement to my Senior class I asked if they had read about all the budget cuts that were announced yesterday. 1/2 of the class nodded their heads acknowledging that they had heard about them. I then asked if they are cutting so many budgets, doesn't it stand to reason that the cutting of services was a logical next step. If these services are cut, who will do the job that was previously done by local municipalities?
I let them think about that one as I read the opening statement,
"President Obama has called for a new era of responsibility-- recognition on the part of every American that we have duties to ourselves, our nation and the world to serve others. It is the price and promise of citizenship"
So I posed the question to my class, if you pay taxes to supposedly have services provided by the government, and they cut those services and fill the gap with "volunteers", what is the point of paying taxes? Is it really your DUTY to serve the world?
I think it is starting to click.
Good find
and good comments.
Not surprised
It's always been a group effort to promote whatever ideals "Hollywood" (apparently the organization's proper name is EIF) wishes to push on the public...every station always follows suit. That's why it's the same 'ole - same 'ole everytime you change the channel. It is amazing how such groups have been forming for years and penetrating every facet of public life.
no comments? really?!
We have known for years that they have been planting messages on tv, but now it is out there as official policy. Did anyone read the article? Did anyone read the memo? This is insanity!!
Please just read the memo before watching tv next week. Am I freaking out over nothing or does anyone else care?
