Won't we have One World Government by 2012?

If Obama cedes Sovereignty to the UN and we become part of a One World Government, can someone tell me what role a Pres, VP, SCOTUS, senators, congressman, governors, mayors, etc., plays in this situation. Will we the people still vote and why? Will our future (s)elected officials be simply endorsing UN actions or fighting them on our behalf. What is the purpose of an elected government body while under UN control?

These three offer nothing except more of the same crap....

same lies, same idiocy as before.

These are the only (approved) candidates.

Bad News.

F%#& off Frank Lutz

This only proves that Ron Paul is still the most feared and hated of candidates inside the gop establishment and the mainstream media . Remember its stil lutz the putz who controls these polls.

Imagine my shame

I love my sister, But she has always been hypnotized by the two party system . And a life long democrat. Well I keep trying to get her to notice Ron Paul well she just could not bring herself to check him out. Then the Dem's got Obama in as pres . I called her up and found her to be in complete shock. Well I ceased the moment look into Ron Paul yet,She replied no but I have found someone I like his name is Huckabee. I HAVE NOT TALKED TO HER SINCE. I think she just could not bring herself to admit her little brother might be right.

If voting could really change things,
it would be illegal. Here is hoping for change!

little brother...

Some people need to convince themselves that they thought of it first. Your sister may be one of those folks, so the more you hammer away at her over Paul, the more she will resist. Be attentive to what she says and find reasons to agree with her when she approaches the truth. Drop the (explicit) Paul boosting in her presence and refine your campaign simply to pointing out Huckabee's disastrous tax and spend history, or Slick Willard's big government reign over Massachusetts, or how much Obama makes you yearn for Bush (who made you yearn for Clinton, who made you yearn for Bush...)

Big siblings often have little patience for pestiferous little brothers, especially those who crow over their righteousness at every opportunity.

I should know, I was a little brother myself, and my older sib still refuses to discuss Jimmy Carter ("the man who can beat Reagan") or any other statist fraud he's bought since, but I never hesitate to point out when HE's right.

A little like fishing I guess. No matter how sharp the hook, they won't bite if they don't like the bait.

Please, please, don't make

Please, please, don't make me endure another campaign season with that smarmy Huckster flaunting his phony morality and his tacky rock band schtick. Yuck. Yuck. When will the madness end?

If anyone had been paying attention to what Huckabee was

saying in the South Carolina debate ( I think SC), when he talked about meeting the "terrorist" at the "Gates of Hell". They would have wrote him off.

I mean really this guy is supposed to be a Baptist Pastor and his first thought is to send folks to the "Gates of Hell".

If he is that confused about his purpose as a servant of God then how confused would he be as a servant of the people?

I can't stand him either, I

I can't stand him either, I couldn't believe he tried to put forth a stealth amnesty plan for illegal aliens(that most people didn't know was a stealth amnesty plan until ALIPAC really jumped on it and exposed it) , it's frustrating that he fooled a lot of people with it. When Ron Paul was asked about it in an interview, he laughed and called it silly and said why not admit its amnesty(which Ron Paul is opposed to). And I wouldn't doubt if huckabee will try it again in the 2012 race, and many people will be fooled all over again like in 2008.
http://www.alipac.us/article2813.html
But actually, Huckabee seemed to be taking the stealth amnesty idea from Mike Pence and Kay Bailey Hutchison, who worked together to create what many called a stealth amnesty plan(dubbed the Pence Plan)that I think Karl Rove, Bush, McCain and Lindsey Graham loved, but most other conservatives did not, because they saw through it and realized it was a lame joke.

Call, Call, Call!!!!

Bump, Bump, Bump!!!!!

betty

Excellent!

I predict

Mitt Romney will be the next republican presidential nominee, and Barack Obama will serve a second term, because the voters will view Romney as even more fake than Obama. The powers that be will not want to lose a puppet as good as Obama.

You would think Romney's "whisperer" moment in the debates would

have been the end of it.
But then Russert came out and shielded Romney by stating that it was an audiience member who said it, eventhough not one camera caught this alleged audience member.

When are these bluehair jackasses going to wake up?

Oh. I forgot The same people are running both parties. And no other party is legitiimate. What can you do?

New polling methodolgy needed

I have never been called by any pollster in my life, have any of you? I don't even know of anyone who has. I've known people who have been struck by lightning, won lotteries, pulled jury duty, beat speeding tickets, but I've never heard of anyone receiving one of these calls. They say they are random automated calls dispersed evenly over a geographic area, ok sure, but they're only reaching a certain demographic (750 people on land lines, who happen to be home and who don't block or hang up on unsolicited automated phone calls). Rasmussen says on their methodology page that they adjust for that. Sounds to me more like they're just making the numbers up! They're creating statistics out of thin air based on limited possibly fictional data reserves. It's fiat polling! Ha!

Take a look:

"After the calls are completed, the raw data is processed through a weighting program to insure that the sample reflects the overall population in terms of age, race, gender, political party, and other factors. The processing step is required because different segments of the population answer the phone in different ways. For example, women answer the phone more than men, older people are home more and answer more than younger people, and rural residents typically answer the phone more frequently than urban residents."

Does this mean if a young urban male answers the phone its worth something like 100 votes, whereas if an older rural female answers the phone, her votes only count as 1? Sounds like that could skew results pretty good.

"Rasmussen Reports determines its partisan weighting targets through a dynamic weighting system that takes into account the state’s voting history, national trends, and recent polling in a particular state or geographic area."

Polls based on polls? National trends? Weighting targets? sounds like they're aiming for certain results there.

Sorry, I'm obviously not a statistician and this may all be sound scientific polling methodology but somethings wrong and significant voices are repeatedly not being represented by these polls. There's got to be a better way to poll. Any ideas?

Actually, it makes sense why

Actually, it makes sense why Rasmussen does what it does cuz it's true that males don't answer the phone and women do. Good info though you provided on how they do polls, i've never seen that before. I've never been called (cuz i'm young) but i never even remember my parents being called and they're republicans. Anyway political polls are bullshit. They don't even include the true republican in the field.

Yes it sooounds sensible

and who knows, maybe it's the best solution they could come up with to compensate for the flaws of using that methodology, and yes, polls mean jack squat, but at the same time they do carry significant consequences, both real and perceived, especially if you're not even included in them. We can't exactly ignore the effect of polls without risking being marginalized and pushed to the political fringe by popular sentiment, whether perceived, manufactured or otherwise.

Polls are more self fulfilling prophecy than accurate predictors of outcome. If you're perceived as a front runner early on, you remain so, even when no one likes you. In order for one to lose their perceived front runner status they must commit an act so reprehensible, a crime so vile that even the devil would be ashamed. That said, many congressmen and women are reelected all the time. The reality is, the public and the media won't waste time with anyone not perceived likely to win. The 2008 elections demonstrated this ad nauseum. Even though Dr. Paul had the best ideas and overwhelming support wherever he went, his campaign was dismissed from the start because of flawed polls saying he wasn't a contender (many of the polls only asked registered republicans and likely voters, neither of which applied to many of our throng at the time those first polls were taking place). Thus the front runners were locked in and the media ran with the polls and ridiculed and belittled the "Quixotic" attempts of Ron Paul's campaign even though he was supported by millions... Unfortunately the people bought the lie and decided not to "waste" their vote on a perceived lost cause.

This was a lesson, and we learned it well. With Rand Paul we started early and we came out swinging with the moneybombs to make sure he established himself early in the polls. As a result people are paying attention to him, he can't be ignored or marginalized now, his poll numbers are near equal with Trey's

So Polls do matter. We just need to find a way to be better represented by them and early on as well. That or start a nationwide campaign to find all those "at home" landline users and educate them in liberty!

It is because Huckabee

has been on tv and people know him now.

We should be used to it by now.

Consider those lists as the ultra-liberal wing of the Republican party.
if they are going to differentiate us. Then it is now THEIR problem, and not ours.
It's an opportunity to Call it what it is.
If you have a neo-con friend..Call them an Ultra-liberal. Wait until they attempt to argue the point..Then LAY IT ON EM.
We can now prove that we ARE different. We are NOT Ultra-liberals, so why should be be part of those polls?

the headline could be:
Right Now Huckabee is leading the Ultra-Liberals of the republican party At 29 percent. Romney at 24, and newcomer Neo-con Sarah Palin at 18.

Ron Paul should Not be on that list, we'll make a list of our own.

and PS..
they can have their friggin Ultra-Liberal tea..with two lumps..
