That last comment by Kagan is mis-guided...

But if he believes that why doesn't he take his fat ass over there and fight Arabs.

Sounds like he's perfectly willing to send other Americans over there to die though.

Ron Paul is correct...it has to do with occupation in middle east countries by the US.

I don't see them attacknig Canada or Mexico or Ireland etc.

BRAVO Dr. Paul...

Keep carrying the flag of freedom for those few of us who still believe in it.

That Cartoon

That Cartoon said in one frame, and two sentences, more than I said in my rather long post below. Well done!

R_Michael! Well, thank you!

Yes, it says alot!! I have posted it quite a few times over the last week....

Thank You, And...

And this latest one would be funny, if it weren't so sadly prophetic.

R-Michael~ I really like what you said below

and yes, I agree 'funny' is not appropriate...the images and captions do wake people up and help raise awareness!

His Answer at the End?

Notice the answer given to Ron Paul's question by the chubby guy, who also complained about only having 20 seconds to respond... I bet he was glad there was only 20 seconds left, it allowed him to give a vague half truth without a follow up question being asked.

He essentially said that Yes, they do study the motivations (calling it "ideology") of the Islamist and he agreed that their reasoning goes deeper than not liking our freedom and culture... But then he said that it is very sophisticated, implying that most people would not understand.

But by that same reasoning, most common everyday Muslims wouldn't understand, right? I mean, if its all that sophisticated, how successful can al Qaeda be at motivating the average Muslim (in large numbers) to Jihad. Are we to believe that the suicide bomber stands there while explosives are being strapped to his torso, and he asks, "Now explain this to me again, because its very difficult to follow... I want to do this why?"

What a bunch of ninnies we have up there. Al Qaeda is successful because they are able to communicate, simply and clearly, the reasons for a Defensive Jihad against the United States. Those reasons resonate with the average Muslim man on the street. And they don't need a theology degree in Islam to understand it!

Yep, I agree.

It's too sophisticated for us pea brains

What hard evidence

is there for any hijackers. For that matter what evidence is there for anyone on those flights at all. These so called hijackers couldn't even fly small planes, they made asses of themselves whereever they went, to draw attention, and by now are probably very dead but not from pilot error. I don't see any family members for people on hijacked flights among the group at NYCCAN. These craft had to be remotely guided, why have a human onboard that might interfere with that

Beautiful! Dr. Paul's statements about the reasons we are

attacked are backed by a study he cites in his book, The Revolution a Manifesto, pg. 20. The University of Chicago's Robert Pape analyzed a database of all suicide terror attacks between 1980 and 2004 ("the al Qaeda years"). Dr. Paul says "The clincher is this: the strongest motivation, according to Pape, is not religion but rather a desire 'to compel modern democracies to withdraw military forces from the territory the terrorists view as their homeland.' " . . ."Until the U.S. invasion in 2003, Iraq had never had a suicide terrorist attack in its entire history. Between 1982 and 1986, there were 41 suicide terrorist attacks in Lebanon. Once the U.S., France and Israel withdrew their forces from Lebanon, there were no more attacks." Kagan states that their dislike of us is due to their "struggle within Islam" - could that be because the Taliban never did anything to us, we were paying them money up until May of 2001, and then we started bombing them?

Debbie

Thanks for this study data!

It proves that the U.S. was cataclysmic in increasing terrorism.

One Hundred Freedom Lovers Demonstrate Against St. Pete Times

Earlier today dozens of patriotic protesters demonstrated outside of the St. Petersburg Times main office building in downtown St. Petersburg. Among other things the demonstrators were demanding that the Times stop publishing lies about how Obama’s plan for socialized medicine will solve the nation’s soaring healthcare costs...

Story:
http://ncoal.com/blog/?p=401

No patriot would protest a newspaper

FREEDOM of the press. Whoever owns the press gets the freedom. They should start their own newspaper. The St Pete Times is free to write whatever it wants.

True

But shouldn't they be held accountable for their lies? Isn't there any use for boycotts and assembly against corrupt institutions? Protests bring public awareness. I think it is all patriots duty to hold people, no matter who they may be accountable for their actions.

What does demonstrating against the St. Pete Times have to do

with Dr. Paul testifying about the war in Afghanistan?? This is a non-sequitur post that got two people off the subject already.

YES !

In fact I've been thinking about that all afternoon.
What other " live" public figure could be named "The Prince of Peace"?
The Pope? No!
Mr. Obama? Ha ha, what a joke !
Any other nominees?

It's my understanding { not being a religious man } that the ancient Israeli religion is still waiting for the Prince of Peace to make his appearance on earth.

Could it be "Our" man????
