Well ya,
they're usually decent people on average when they take off the costume...But isn't that besides the point? Seems to me like it is--isn't the relevant issue that enforce "laws" that are criminal and violate our freedom and rights? That's where I think it's at.

Less means for the tax-feeding enforcers of the criminal laws that the rulers (who call themselves "our elected representatives") dictate upon us!

Sheriff in the video is spouting statist propaganda
He asserts that him and his police gang "protect us". They do a little bit...but on net, that is looking at the full picture, they endanger our liberty (ie. with all the criminal "laws" that they enforce) much more than any protection they offer...
