Members of Congress have been talking about the "pink slips" campaign, which warns them against "charge-it-and-spend-it" government programs, cap-and-trade taxes and federalized health care, for some time among themselves. Now they're going public.

A news conference has been scheduled for Nov. 17 at 11 a.m. at the House Triangle outside the U.S. Capitol to address the "pink slips" campaign that already has generated more than 4.5 million notices to members of Congress that their jobs will depend on their representation of America's real needs.

They need to be delivered to the FED. Congress does not hold the primary responsibility, nor should we assume that Congress should do anything to rectify the problem. This symbolizes a cry for more "action" by Congress than anything.

No, it isn't another gay pride parade; it's a million people marching on the Capital - each with a pink slip in hand to send the message that the people are going to terminate elected officials in 2010 and 2012.

So when do you guys want to do this?

The total number of "pink slips" shipped to members of Congress telling them their bosses don't want government control of health care, energy or speech is more than 4 million.

The Capitol building has it's own post office/service. It's obvious they are not going to allow a FedEx person or someone dressed like a FedEx person wander all over the Capitol building carrying packages.

Imagine the impact 3,500,000 pink envelopes will have on ANYONE receiving them. While there are those who will scoff and remain in denial about the importance of this event there are others who will be nudge to some degree to begin to ask why all this is happening.

I only wish the RP people had done this. We could use the cash and PR.

To send pink slips warning congress to do the right thing? If they were inclined to do the right thing they would simply do that.

These entrenched puppets will never be inclined to do the right thing. 104,000,000 would be better spent replacing a few of these well-healed, well-connected criminals.
