The Dollar: Slip-Slidin' Away
Where I live, I am about 15 hours ahead of you. I check the currency indexes several times a day, since that is where I stuck my savings.
The dollar tries to rally a point or two and then gets slammed by the other currencies. The Euro (aka the 'Big Dog') is roaring into a new high territory, the Aussie Dollar is leading the pack. Even the Canadian dollar is gaining ground. As of today (Monday night, 8:15) the dollar is, once again, on the ropes.
Ron Paul called it, along with Peter Schiff and others. If the dollar continues to decline, we will see hyper-inflation. If you have any savings, please consider opening an account at Everbank.com or HSBC. You can buy foreign currencies there (HSBC - after opening a U.S. account, you can then open an HSBC Hong Kong account. Paperwork, but worth it. What the hell. Cover what you've got.

We have a friend that was sort of awake. We got her to come WAYYYY far down the bunny hole, but she cannot get her mind around the need to get out of the dollar. Sad place to buy the lie, but at least she will have food and basic supplies.
Truth exists, and it deserves to be cherished.
