Just thought the WRSA [Western Rifle Shooters Association] and the Sipsey Street boys might like to see what we are wearing while over here in Iraq. We . . . know what the deal is, and when the time comes (which it will), we know where we stand and continue to make preparations for it.

And as for the skeptics: It's almost certainly legit...and applied via velcro, not in the presence of objecting higher ranking soldiers...coming off in a hurry when such show up. So, no they aren't wearing them all the time, but they're thinking.

Is this sort of whimsical addition to the Army uniform allowed?
Are active duty troops allowed to simply add flags, saying, patches, different flags, etc. to their uniform?
Am I supposed to believe this?
Now, I haven't looked into this 'Oath Keeper' stuff as of yet, and I like Mr. Buchannan but this sort of thing would make me very skeptical of the movement.
Anyone?
