Q & A with Rand Paul on mountaintop removal and energy policy.
The Obama administration is attempting to restrict permits for coal mining. Rand Paul reports from a recent trip to Eastern Kentucky and explains his firm stance in support of the coal industry and private property. On this trip, Rand visited some of the reclaimed areas that had been donated by the coal companies. He found that the coal companies had done a great job at reclaiming the land. While he was there, he came across a herd of elk.
In this video, Rand Paul also explains his position on alternative energy, cap and trade, and carbon emissions.
