Just received from my son's school "H1N1 Vaccine Survey"

And it said I was required to sign and return it to school EITHER WAY - whether I gave permission or refused permission for the vaccine to be administered. (They said it was just the regular flu shot - but I don't believe them. Anyway, the regular flu shot this year already has the H1N1 virus in it). The document also said the form was in part for the health department's records. Well, I did not sign and return it. I believe what they want is a signed record of who is NOT accepting the vaccine. I did call the superintendent of schools to find out the exact day the health department was coming into the school. And I emailed my child's teacher and principal to reiterate in no uncertain terms that my child is not to receive any vaccinations of any kind at school. Today was the day of the procedure at my child's school and I kept her home. I can just imagine all the kids runny noses all day. I wonder how long there will be a threat of contagion after this - considering they are using live virus nasal spray. I am so ripping mad that I have to worry about this at school! I would take her straight out of school - if she didn't love it so.

Is it possible that they could vaccinate your child without you knowing it? The fact that this vaccine is now a nasal spray, there will be no evidence that they actually got it. Is anyone else worried about this?

They used to make me rinse my mouth with flouride even though my mom wouldn't sign the permission slip. And I never told my mom cause I didn't want to be left out.

Isn't there at least some chance that they are actually trying to figure out how many vaccines to get, and to which schools to allocate them? If you don't want your kids vaccinated, either don't respond, or respond no, 0, and nowhere.

My impression is there are so many people clamoring for the vaccine that supplies are stretched. So, instead of just sending a bunch of vaccines to each school district regardless of actual demand, the CDC or whoever, wants to be a bit more precise.

and then stuff a DVD "vaccine: the hidden truth" copy in the envelope and hand deliver it to the office.

Maybe it's so they can say "we took a survey and 98% said they didn't have a problem with it, so we're going to go ahead with what the public wants."

Even if Everyone said they didn't want it, there's no way to know. Then, those that don't want to make waves will think they're the only ones that said they didn't like it and most of them will just go along with it.
