She is handed her questions by producers who are out to make people confused and skeptical of Dr. Paul's message.

'All these newsbimbo's are the same, what's the difference?' you might ask. I think we should differenciate between those who give Dr. Ron Paul a fair treatment, and those who don't. I watched many interviewes with RP in the last years, and she has always been quite fair I think. I think she likes him.
Soledad O'Brien on the other hand is a different story, she is nasty.

by Ron on this, but I think focusing too much on bonuses could be a mistake, because bonuses are more a symptom than the root of the problem, which is the excessive amount of debt in our system fueled by an unconstitutional Federal Reserve that is there to support first and foremost the banking interests. Instead I feel we need to have our currency tied to a hard asset such as gold so that ordinary citizens are not robbed by inflation and money printing. I recently read a good article at http://www.goldalert.com/gold_news.php titled "Gold Up, Dollar Down - Does it Really Matter?" on the way in which the Federal Reserve continues to go down the wrong economic path, and the investment implications for fiat currencies and the gold price. There are many dangers in our financial system and we are very fortunate that Ron Paul is among the few and courageous people speaking out against this. I just want to try to focus more on the root causes of the problems.

He was deflecting the talking head's question about executive bonuses, which was trying to pin him between advocating wage controls and advocating unpopular high bonuses for the execs in the bailed out industries.
His answer was that where the government has bought an "owership" interest in a bailed-out industry and fed in taxpayer money to do so, it may (and should, like any other investor's agent) control or influence how that money is spent by the company to prevent its waste and keep it from being looted by the execs. And that where the government doesn't have such an ownership interest, to cap executive compensation is to institute wage controls, which shouldn't happen. This got him out of the pinch and explained the free market solution.
The consumption of time was regrettable, but necessary to avoid letting the talking head tar Ron, and us, with a false picture of his/our position on the issues.

RP is saying the government is a fraud. I've never heard him directly say, @4:22. It's awesome how he delivers the solution because it's the only solution out there, it's ear candy.. but he's calling the govt. criminal outright on MSM.
I wonder if there might be some "blowback" from his saying the fed is committing fraud and the govt is criminal. Kudos RP!!!

What a great morning.
I woke up this morning turned on CNN and there was Ron Paul discussing his ideas. I didn't even know that he was going to be on. It's always funny how the news anchor tries to corner him into answering the question the way he/she wants him to. But he never gives in and always states his ideals. I wish we could have people of his stripe on more often. The news would be a lot more interesting that way.

"As usual"
Bravoseis, we both posted at the same moment right after his appearance and used the phrase "as usual". Isn't it true that Dr. Paul never wavers, never stumbles and is 100% confident in what he says when given quality time to speak. So as "as usual" is to us is, hopefully, he leaves a few thousand viewers scratching their head and saying "that guy has it right".
